I don't know if that is accurate or not. Not saying you're wrong, just that I haven't done the research and don't have time right now.

But...

Even if it's accurate and marijuana smoke really does have more tar than cigarette smoke, pot smokers don't fur one up anywhere near as often as cigarette smokers. And when they do fur one up, it's usually only a few tokes, nowhere near as many tokes as a whole tobacco cigarette.

Plus, you don't necessarily have to "smoke" marijuana. You can eat the stuff (Tommy Chong said he doesn't smoke it anymore, just eats it and uses oils).

@thriller - you do appear the nerd here (I don't smoke, at all). Almost everyone I know does. Very smart, sharp, people. Perhaps everyone else eats people's faces (I joke), but I don't see any correlation between weed and anything really bad.

As for Loony Tunes in the video, I remember having conversations like that with my friends when I was roasted out of my mind. That dude just happened to be alone and had a camera -- I'm not a bit surprised that the police found nothing, as this guy is just high and being goofy.

Challenge: Find one (yes, one. That is, only one) case of a marijuana-only smoker getting lung cancer.

Weed can cause cancer. And numerous other studies have been done showing other harm. This is a surprise only to Potheads (who also may just be in denial). Sorry, Cheech.

It's sad how many kids think weed does nothing to them and a lot of that comes from ignorant adults telling them that. Hey, if you wanna smoke weed then be my guest but at least have accountability about what you are doing to your body. Every other drug used out there doesn't seem to have the denial-based culture that weed does. Crackheads, drunks, smokers, etc. all seem to at least recognize that it's bad for you. Potheads? Geez, not only do they live in denial of the harm but they even try to say it's good for you.

Pathetic.

PS Big fan of the anecdotal evidence at large here.
