What's new

Game #1: Jazz vs Mavericks, 10/31/12 - 7:00 PM MST - Root Sports, 1280 AM/97.5 FM

Or it could mean they have the first game jitter/rust shaken off and are ready to go and avenge the loss from the previous night, they get off to a hot start and Jazz get off to a slow start and it snowballs.

Not saying it is going to happen just sayin' is all.

Not to mention it will only be the second game of the year. The Mavs should still be pretty fresh.

Well i will be dressing up as a jazz fan: Favors jersey, jazz hat, jazz tatoo on my arm, jazz wallet, and pint of southern comfort sneaked into the arena.

SoCo? ComeonFOGbro.
...Absolutely nailed it otherwise.

Dude was running the pick and roll pretty well with Varejao, but Andy did a good job finding the open mSan when help came. Kyrie's not a traditional point guard, perhaps, but he controls the pace and tenor of the game pretty well, and does a really good job putting the ball in the basket.

You just got mSan'd JAss bro.

I saw this coming.

The Lakers are trying to incorporate a brand new offense with a brand new core - they will be underwhelming all regular season but terrifying come playoff time.

As for the Mavs, we'll blow them out by 20+ tomorrow.

We can't let their guards get into the paint to do damage. If we can keep Collison/Mayo on the perimeter we should eat them alive inside on the other end. Also the Lakers are still a terrible 3-point shooting team and adding Dwight makes them significantly worse from the FT line and those two areas really killed them tonight.

Darren Collison looked ****ing good today. Made me stress over the fact that maybe we should have gone after him, and not Smokin' Mo. Mo is probably the better-fit for an Al-centered offense; regardless, tomorrow will be an exciting game to watch.

I'm not to worried. The Lakers looked like a team that never played with each other before... they looked horrible. Also, the Jazz always come out with a ton of intensity in their home openers. Jazz will win, and Eddy Curry will be on an oxygen tank at the end of the bench!

Collison did look great, there can be no denying that.

I think even Bobcats could have beaten Lakers tonight. What was their FT%? 30% or something like that? Jazz will smoke Mavs tomorrow.

Collison looks great when nobody was playing defense on him. I love Nash but his defense blows. Lakers will get torn up by pg's this year. I expect Mo will do great on Collison.

As I've said over and over, we should have snagged him. Period. Mo, too.
