Burks just doesn't seem to get what the coaches are looking for. He comes in the game and does all the things you don't want him to do. He over dribbles, takes bad shots, and play bad D.
He looked like a Mormon family of 12 at Chuck-a-Rama the day before Fast Sunday: he knew he had to hurry and get his fill while he could.

I've gone from being terrified of the Tinsley/Foye/Burks small lineup to begging for it. It probably won't work, but it's not like our 2nd unit could get worse.

While I get what you're saying, let's keep in mind this was his first game of the season...and only played 6 minutes.

If I were him, I would demand a trade by trade deadline, if the situation would continue.
Yeah, that is the point. He has to take advantage of those minutes to show that he can contribute to the game even if he isn't scoring. If he would have done good in those 6 minutes, he could have gotten more in the 2nd half, and in turn, more the next game.

Horrible assessment of his 6 minutes.
He took 2 shots: 1 of them he broke a dudes ankles and got wide open for a 15 footer that went in and out.... the other shot was from about 8 feet out that he normally makes. So he took 2 shots, both of them good looks.
He did over dribble ONE time so ya, just horrible.
His defense was just fine and the guy he was gaurding never scored a single point.
He was fighting for rebounds constantly and tipping the rebounds around (never could quite get hold of one)
His only bad play was the one time that he over dribbled and got double teamed out beyond the 3 point line and lost the ball.... which favors recovered by the way so it didn't even count as a turnover.
