Utah Jazz @ L.A. Lakers - Dec 9 - 7:30 PM MST - Root Sports

I'm impressed that the Jazz put up 117 points on the Lakers in the Staples Center. We could have had a couple more 3s too.

I'm impressed that they managed to stay ahead despite all the mini runs the Lakers had. That is truly impressive for this team.

so at least he has something in common with you momma

Whoa whoa whoa you cant say that to the guy that you elected president of jazzfanz!

It was an impressive game. The one thing I saw lagging was coaching.

Anyone that disagrees is wrong and can picnic with my great aunt.

This.

I kept thinking the jazz would lose thier composure and they never did.

Since HH claimed harris was being bashed, he has got what he wanted.

So: devin harris 2012 season stats: 23 minutes, 43% shooting, 32% from 3, 68% from free throw line, 1.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals, .1 blocks, 1.4 to, 7.5 pts.

Mo williams: 32 minutes, 44% shooting, 35% from 3, 97% from free throw line!, 2.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 1.1 steals, .4 blocks, 2.6 to, 13.8 pts.

whats the hawks record and whats the jazz record? maybe one player is less selfish and cares more about team success bro.

This is just painful to watch at times. Felt like Al Jefferson, Hayward and Mo Williams were shooting the ball into an ocean there and Enes Kanter is like one those things from the Avatar movie.

Yes, but Jonas Valanciunas is still the player we had to draft above Kanter ;) he he

--------------------

Oh, Man great Game by the Young-Feller and strong by BIG-AL Jefferson after his injury. But in my opinion anyway it´s pathetic that Kanter just gets 3 minutes more than usual, when a player like Derrick Favors is missing who usual gets 23 minutes per game. Beyond that, this dude had a great game but just earning garbage gt like this. This guy is the 3rd Pick of this team, he is very talented and awesome strong. He deserves to play not lower than 20-25 minutes per game. This guy is a BULL...

Random thoughts:

Millsap is a smart player. Good to see him pulling out of his slump.

Jamison was laughable. So bad.

Kanter needs more minutes. I can't believe he played so few.

Jefferson was really horrible on D tonight. If his back is hurting him, then why is Corbin riding him for 30 minutes when Kanter was relatively effective?
EDIT: team D. Especially late in the first quarter.

Lakers are gonna blow up again if things don't turn around in the next 15ish games.

I wasn't even making an arguement..... just posting stats

Marvin should have been in there at the end instead of Foye. There is almost absolutely no benefit of him closing games. You gotta have Marvins length in there.

I thought Jefferson's post D on Dwight was pretty good. That was his main focus. Howard only got 5 buckets and 11 pts. in 42 minutes.

Just a great effort in all phases. Have to hand it to Ty, the offense rolled through Sap because that was where the matchup was and he exploited it. But it's also worth noting that the cuts are starting to come. Several baseline cuts (shades of Ronnie B), seeing some high low darts with Sap or Al coming down from the top of the key. And nobody's trying to do too much out there.

The defense was terrific, don't let the score fool you. Yeah, there were a few breakdowns, but the Lakers were just sizzling from 3. They weren't running anything. In the first, they had to call a TO to basically tell Kobe to get them back in the game. Every drop in the post to Howard is practically a waste. They swing the ball OK, but they just don't know how they're going to score if Kobe doesn't have it. I've never seen Hill up close but I like him a lot.
