When I was in high school I was a little obsessed with the Jazz. This is in the era way before league pass (Frankly, before I was anywhere near the internet), and as a Jazz fan living in San Diego I would record any nationally televised Jazz game that I could get my hands on.
Here is the scoop. I still have all of the games I recorded in a big ol' box of VHS tapes. Pretty much from 1994 through the 2000s - and including most all of the playoff games from that era (Well, most of them. I was known for recording over the games they lost. I'm pretty sure I don't have that 54 point NBA finals blowout anywhere)
What I'd love to do is get them all transferred to DVD just so I can get rid of all of the VHS tapes. Is there anyone on this forum that might be interested in taking that project on? I just don't have the time to do it even though I've got a big stack of dual layered DVDs and a VCR/DVD recorder combo box waiting for me...to find time.
Anyone out there interested in taking it on? (I know, probably a long shot.)
