What's new

Golden State Whoriors at Utah Jazz: 7pm MT

no SAP is alright. sap plays better when he is not on the floor with foye jefferson and williams

No no no no!!! I want Sap gone as well. He sets the worst picks on the team and doesn't hustle like he used to and won't mentor the youngsters. He won't help the development of Favors or Kanter, and won't except a bench role.

Just a horrible effort all around.

GS took it to us. Time to move on

LOL.

Funny how each week we're getting "blasted" by somebody and we're just supposed to "forget about it" and "move on."

Just last week Indy punked us. GS this week. Who is gonna "take it to us" next week? Minny? Ohhh that game @ Denver the back end of a b2b seems promising. Lets all get ahead of ourselves right now and begin to "forget" about the future blowout that Denver is going to give us next week.

When will anyone be held accountable? Just to say, "Move on" and "forget about it" seems too Charlotte Bobcat or Washington Wizards to me. Are we even trying to improve anymore?

A blowout loss each week where we merely discount it as "one game" really adds up come May/June.

Why is Carroll al of a sudden playing garbage time and not significant minutes, Burks shouldnt be taking his minutes, burks should be tacking foyes and Marvins minutes.

heck burks could do a better job at center than fat al.

burks rebounding rate >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> big al's rebounding rate

I wouldn't have said anything if your post wasn't so bolded.

would you huslte?

i wouldnt.

millsap basketball style = JAZZ BASKETBALL.

Typical Dutch, no argument so you have to call a person a name. You call me a retard while you can't spell blame. The bad performance is not all the fault of the coach. These guys are professional and they are suppose to show up and play hard. It is pretty obvious that you don't like Corbin but Ty is not the only problem with how the Jazz are playing.

LOL, there are still Corbin apologists out there?!?!?

Agreed

We need coaching changes and everyone needs to re-establish themselves for the new coach

Clean slate

We routinely have lackluster effort

That is on leadership

Great idea to play Burks. But why did we wait until the end of the 2nd to actually run a play for Burks to drive (with Al which he scored.) We play Burks like he's a Foye/Marvin clone -- worthless on the drive, only useful on curls and kickouts.

We need to give him the Hayward role. Hayward is worthless handling the ball, and it's official he will never be a good initiator of the offense, but great when he's set up for shots. Burks is the opposite. He may not yet be great at setting up teammates, but he can drive like Hayward never will. So let him learn by giving him the PnR's that Hayward can't do.

If he didn't chuck there would be no other stats next to his name. He chucks therefore he is. But a word of advice, don't point out Hayward standing around watching the game and chucking away the locals don't find it humorous.

Oh man, for me Hayward is the most overrated player on this board. He can´t pass that good, he is an horrible rebounder, he is just an average defender and has no consistent jump shot. Oh man is this hype, becausse he is white and looking like something like Justin Bieber ? The Utah Jazz wasting there time on the wrong player. The biggest talents on this rooster are Kanter and Favors, this dudes have All-Star potential and just are needing more playing time. They could be one of the best, double teams in the NBA, but in the end we will loose both guys to other teams.

Completely Agree, I remember during the Indy game Harpring was going on about how that game was just one of those "throw away games", Every game in the season is important especially for a middle of the road team like the Jazz, We cant have any "throw Away Games" if we want to make the play offs.

Anyone not over reacting is under reacting. How could anyone possibly be comfortable with how things are right now

I am not apologizing for Ty, he deserves some of the blame. The players still have to execute and play hard. The coach can scream/encourage/game plan all he wants but if the guys just show up and don't execute or play hard/well what is he going to do. I didn't see the whole game but there were only a few players playing hard and no one really had an outstanding game so I guess Ty is the only one who deserves the blame tonight? How come this doesn't work when the Jazz win? Should Ty get all the credit when they win? Now that would be just silly!!!

Marvin Williams shot 1 for 6 for 2 pts. with 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 block in 19 minutes.

Earl Watson and Jamal Tinsley combined to shoot 0 for 5 with zero points, 7 assists and 7 turnovers.

Randy Foye shot 3 for 10 and ended with 8 pts , 2 rebs, and 1 assist.

I know I come across as an Al Jefferson apologist sometimes, but I really don't think he's the biggest problem here. He and David Lee had virtually identical stat lines.

Al Jefferson is one ugly slow moving pile of meat... Who the hel wants to wear his jersey anyway, its horrible business, and basketball. Get rid of him, and Tyco-only thing hes good at is wearing nice suits. Bring back the glory days of Utah

Seriously: Do you really think how bad we are on offense is effort? Poor execution? Or does poor coaching ever enter the equation?

It is Ty's fault that the majority of the minutes are consistently going to the players who AREN'T showing up and who AREN'T busting their asses. Carroll plays harder than anyone on the team (and he's been playing quite well besides) and he just got put in the doghouse.

But let's disregard the laughable rotations for a minute and talk about our half-court offense. It's terrible. It's virtually non-existent. It's directionless. Either Corbin hasn't taught them an offense, or he has, they're not running it, and he's not holding them accountable for it. Either way I don't see how you can't put a HUGE portion of the blame on our idiot head coach.

Agree 100%.
