Following potential 2013 draftees

How high do you think Trey can go PKM? Assuming he keeps up his production and makes a deep run in the tourney (final four).

As some know My collage knowledge isn't great, but a lot of you have mentioned Burke so I YouTubed him, and I know highlights are not a great tool for scouting someone, but he to me has a lot of CP3 in him, and see him climbing up draft boards. Am I way off base here??

This isn't my opinion, but what I am consistently hearing is way late lottery to 20 .. with 14 - 16 most common.

Poor man's, yes. Good comp.

Even if the Jazz get the 8th playoff spot, I think we have a good shot at MCW or Burke.

I'd bet heavily..

I hope you're right. He might not be elite, but I think we could definitely use him.

We could. I'm not down on him, as I've said, I just don't want to treat him like a game-changer .. I don't see it. Very good, not great. I'll take very good, especially a need .. but won't give the farm for it.

Here are the highlights from one of Burkes better games...

That was awful.. I like Trey .. that just made it more difficult.

haha

edit: point being Burke may be 6'0, but he has the same motor and determination as KJ.....less the hops.

Chris Paul is also 6'0...

It's definitely not a limiting factor. My concern with Burke is more mental. Paul is a fighter. You can see it even when he was in college. Burke is composed, poised and measured, but does he have the fight & the drive to be the best? That's still remains to be seen...

Scouts know these days .. no one is under the radar, no one ..

They think he's a really good back up to a good team or starter for a bad team .. I've said all I have to say on this, I'll leave the convo now..

As I've mentioned before, I think he has serious pouting potential a la DWill if things aren't going right. He really needs a strong coach to keep him in check, and continue teaching cause he wants to learn and seems to like a structured offense, but I would say his maturity is his biggest weakness. He had a one game suspension both seasons for some personal issues. Not showing up to practice on time, etc. I would say overall on the court he is poised and takes pride in that. Mentions it a lot in interviews. He also tries to teach/coach the younger players on the court as much as he can (in a good way).

He has the drive for sure. There are a bunch of clips of him working his *** off in between high school and Michigan to prepare himself. Google "road to ann arbor". Also, the improvement between last season and this season is very visible - showing his hard work in the offseason. However, having the players he has around him has helped both Burke and Hardaway to settle into their own game without trying to do too much. But overall, super competitive guy and always wants to be the best. Thats why he occasionally pouts.

I dont know a lot about the college scene because I'm too busy in grad school, but I have season tix here at Michigan and know this team very well.....might be a homer but try to keep it real.

Some good info there. Thanks & Repped.
