Yeah. If BS were a GM, he'd build the Sacramento Kings + CJ Miles.
Didn't we upgrade our wing talent by replacing CJ with Marvin and Foye? How did that turn out?

Feel free to explain what's wrong about it.

Your Gloomy Gus attitude about the way Hay gets his points while you semi-glorify the way Al gets his.
Oh my.CJ's been better than both those guys by a mile. He had a better December than Hayward. But Ok.
The facts? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Amazing that a knowledgeable Utah Jazz fan could turn his back on basic principles of winning team basketball and become a hack who thinks iso ability is all that matters.
Hilarious.
And what a stupid strategy it is to only extend those who are sure things. Batum admitted outright that he expected to get less than Gallo on an extension, but the Blazers were only offering $6.5mm per year. Now the dude's making more than $1mm per year than Gallo. Just plain stupid.
What numbers are you referring to? I'm not sure I've ever read a post of yours with a number in it.So now the stat guy is resorting cliches like "team basketball" when the numbers don't work out? And I'm the one being laughed at?
I take that back. I have read some of your posts where you argue that a span of a few good games by your pet players represents a sustainable upward trend in performance, and posts where you argue that a span of a few good games by your disliked players is just an aberration. Intellectual integrity.
No, not at all. Gordo is now a hair below Al in scoring per minute on the team. He's scoring efficiently, leading the second unit, and playing good D. He's eligible for an extension in the summer. I thought it would be interesting to see where everyone stands on an extension. And you're the paragon of integrity? Get over yourself. This whole thread is based on Hayward having an "uptrend" of about 10 games.
My tone is more important than the facts?
The Blazers waited until Batum got an RFA offer, and matched for basically 11 per. Point is they waited. They still paid up on potential, but had an extra year of data, and he was a trade chip the whole year they were deciding.
Early extensions are for players teams are sure about -- the Griffins or even Holiday's. Hayward fits the Batum model.
If Hayward ends the season with the same averages (and aggregate play) as he has now, you wouldn't offer an extension at all? You could always play it like the Blazers, offer $6mm per, and then wait it out.
