Following potential 2013 draftees

If the Jazz let Sap and Jefferson go without getting anything back, or just get picks for them, we will likely be picking in the top 10. The average age of the core (Favors, Kanter, Burks, Hayward) will only be 22, such young teams rarely do well unless one is a developing superstar. More importantly the bench will be complete ***.

No way Greg/KOC/Lindsey will let us tank. EVER. Book it.

True, but an unintentional tank could happen. What I mean is that they could try to re-sign either Al or Sap, but fail, while also failing to bring in any solid free agents. Every vet could end up leaving, even if we try to retain them.

UK played without WCS last night.

Ryan Harrow continues to play as the 2nd best player on the team. 12pts (50% shooting), 8asts, 5rbs, 1stl. Great floor leader. I still think he's too thin for the NBA, though..

Noel just continues to do what he does. 10pts, 9rbs, 7blks .. in 25 minutes.

Nothing has changed with Goodwin and Poythress. Both put up decent stats, both have tons of talent, but Archie keeps playing too out of control and Poythress with no fire.

Why no WCS?

I really think the Jazz would be stupid to keep both Millsap and AJ. IF I were in charge I would try to trade them for short term assets or just let them walk. I would then bring in one or two players who are ok with being bench players. I would play the young guys hoping that will most likely lead to the Jazz missing the playoffs and getting a higher pick. In this draft the Jazz can find another young complimentary player to add depth to the young roster. Another poor season next year while developing the team and then with lotto luck the Jazz get a top 5 pick and get a stud in the 2014 draft. Kobe/Dirk will be retired, Wade/James will be a few years older, the Jazz will only have to deal with KD/Westbrook but the league will be wide open.

Wish this would have been done last year.

If we get a top 8 player in 2014 .. they will be a straight up stud. And have every position to choose from, but a center (unless WCS doesn't come out this year).

No doubt. Only, a top 5 pick in 2014 is obviously better than in any other draft, so it could all work out.

I said top 8, but top 4 in '14 would be as exciting as any pick we have ever had.

I would excitedly take any of;

Wiggins (best since Lebron?)
Randle (Beast)
Parker (everyone knows him)
Andrew Harrison (could be as good of PG as we have seen come out since Deron/CP3)

I just had to change my drawers.

Fixed.

What did you fix? I don't see it.

Also, Aaron Gordon reminds me of Blake Griffin at this stage. Put him at 5. James Young is going to be lethal as well as Aaron Harrison. Monster class with a couple future legends in there, imo.

You wrote "(best since Lebron?)"

I fixed it to "(best since Lebron!)"

Btw, what position is Aaron Gordon? He seems like a bit of a tweener. Not that I've seen a ton of him, though.

He is a tweener. SF/PF that most list as a SF .. but he's in between. World class athlete though with dunks like Griffin.

Better than Rose?
