OFFICIAL: Trade Deadline Thread

"Clippers will be working the phones up until the deadline but at this point a trade would be a surprise." -@ArashMarkazi

"Despite 11th-hour push inside for deal, Clippers unlikely to make any big trade today, per source. Team wants to preserve chemistry, depth." -@daldridgetnt

While Bledsoe is intriguing, I will throw a ****ing party if the Jazz get net-nothing (or better) in a lumber-clearing move of Al.

Really. Free us, KOL. Embrace what you know in your hearts and minds.

I would trade Millsap... and just Millsap... or Millsap and a pick (or raja/earl/tinsley) for Bledsoe + Odom... but that's all I'd do. So if that's not on the table then i'm cool. NO BURKS

I'd happily go Millsap and both picks. We really don't need 2 more rookies, or even one more. We can hardly develop the young talent we already have.

i dont endorse this trade, because i find marshall to be an inept PG at the NBA level. and i like DMC, nonetheless some of you may find Marshall to be a pg worth developing.

Millsap + DMC
for
Jared Dudley + Kendall Marshall + LAL 2013 1st rounder.

THIS.

What do you think the Jazz company line will be after the trade deadline? "We like where were at", "we think we are in a great position to make the playoffs", "we like our players too much to do a deal", "no comment..."

"Look it takes two to Tango, so uh, yea, we took some calls but the offers we got we didn't feel made our team better, and they wanted us to take back contracts that we didn't want, that would take away our flexibilty this summer, because this summer is where all of our flexibility will pay off."

I don't understand the point of gaining flexibility for this summer when there are literally zero appealing free agents. If we have to take on Butler or really whoever in order to get Bledsoe, who cares?

if this offers on the table, the jazz should do it. i wouldn't bet on it though

@CAGrizBlog

Griz actively working two trade scenarios -- each of which would bring back a big man, per source. Told that player won't be household name

Its so we can be flexible enough to re-sign Al.

I really wish LAC had another **** contract we could take on.

Millsap + Mo + 1st round picks for Bledsoe + LO + phantom **** contract.

I would give both of them as well. More than likely neither will be a lottery anyway.

Maybe a three way trade that sends out both our picks, one to LAC, one to bring back a solid backup PG like Collison or Augustin or something to the clips.
