Jazz (31-25) vs Celtics (29-26) @EnergySolutionsArena 2/25/13 @7 PM (MT)

On the radio post game they mentioned that Al has never won vs the Celtics. I really wish when teams are successful at denying him position on the block that Corbin would save him for the next game a la Pops.
I haven't read all 9 pgs, so sorry if this is a repost.

Ha. All I mean is that he's clearly demonstrated his value and Hayward is looking like a legit #2 or 3 offensive option. Seriously impressed with his scoring since coming back from injury.

Hayward had missed something like 6 shots in a row. Foye got open, he just wasn't able to square himself since he was running away from the rim.

Right but that was not his shot. Hayward -or make it Burks if he has gone cold- are better at running jumpers. Oh well what's done is done.

Gotta love that awesome screen by Big Al.

That run we made to start the 4th QT was orgasmic. We were down 8, and went on a tear. Beautiful ball distribution, great defense, and good finishing. That's everything we want this team to be.

I should have known better than to get my hopes up about Corbin shaking up the starting 5. Watson is his big move?

I'd love to see him start Burks, DeMarre, Hayward, Millsap and Favors or Kanter. No more of this token starter crap. Put the guys who can accomplish something on the court and let the rest fight for scrap minutes. Evaluate our core 4 and see what they can do. There'd be a lot of mistakes but there would also be a lot of growth for our young guys. I'd like to see them have the chance... they just might exceed expectations. I don't care if we don't make the playoffs. Right now we're playoff fodder for OKC, the Clippers or the Spurs.

I love that Jazz players aren't giving the ball to Al anymore on offense.

All we need now is for them to shoving Al out of the way on defense. I would have lived to see Paul shove Al into the stands there.

Not only did Al not cover the cutter but he prevented the cutters man from covering him as well. To suck at D is one thing but to be able to physically prevent your teammates from playing D is a skill that is very rare indeed.

yet i have seen this skill for 3 years now,
if you notice he sometimes does this on rbeounding as well :) most obvious victim is PIMPSLAP

1.2 seconds left and you need a 3. Who do you want on the floor? Big Al, of course. Nice Ty, real nice. I wonder if the Celts knew who our 2 options were?
