what other players would you think jazz should try and keep.

I like this question. Though it's tough to know whether;

- we're considering contractual agreements
- who we get in the draft or FA

I voted for DeMarre, Mo, and Millsap. I'm a bit hesitant on Mo but that would depend on what other PGs are available and at what cost.

EXACTLY how I voted and my hesitancy as well. I'm also slightly unsure of Millsap because of contract negotiations.

Fire Corbin and Hire Brian Shaw

Only keep Carroll & Evans. Try to trade Marvin Williams for nothing. But we will most likely have to keep him.

Sign CJ Watson(Player option this summer) to a 3 year deal with a 4th year team option.
We will be able to sign him for about 2-3 Million a year. He would be a great back up.
Sign Jarrett Jack as the starting PG.

Sign Martell Webster to a contract this summer also. He is shooting 45% for the field and 45% from the 3. He can be our starting SF. We will have to over pay for him to come here though. Not by much since he is just a role player.

Sign some Veteran Big men to help mentor Kanter and Favors
Elton Brand
Ronny Turiaf (Might be a little immature still but who knows)
Kurt Thomas (Yes he is 40 but I would pay him 1 million to help coach the young guys on how to use your body)
Kwame Brown (Great man to man defender even according to Kobe. We all know he sucks at everything else)
Jermaine O'Neal (Has he grown up yet?)

Jack - Watson - Rookie PG
Hayward - Burks - Carroll
Webster - Marvin W - Carroll
Kanter - Marvin W - Evans
Favors - 2 Veteran Big men from list

I assume this is 2 years from now so this is how I see it going next year...

Mo Williams, Alec Burks, Trey Burke
Randy Foye, Alec Burks, Kevin Murphy
Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll, Jeremy Evans
Derrick Favors, Marvin Williams, James McAdoo
Enes Kanter, Samuel Dalembert

then in two years...

Alec Burks, Trey Burke
Randy Foye, Alec Burks, Kevin Murphy
Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll, Jeremy Evans
Derrick Favors, James McAdoo, Jeremy Evans
Enes Kanter, Samuel Dalembert

then three...

Trey Burke
Alec Burks, Randy Foye, Kevin Murphy
Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll, Jeremy Evans
Derrick Favors, James McAdoo, Jeremy Evans
Enes Kanter, Samuel Dalembert

Carrolle and Evans. I could be convince on signing Foye if Corbin is no longer coach. If Corbin is coach then Foye needs to go as well.
.
I have no interest in anybody else on the roster coming back. Especially Al and Millsap.
.
Edit: I guess Murphy can stay. He's young inexpensive and maybe has some hidden talent.

I like millsap next to favors. This makes the best of both players. I think if they play in the same frontcourt they are both all stars. I like millsap next to kanter too.

This is the lineup I want next year:

Mo burks rookie
Hayward burks
Demarre Hayward Evans rookie
Millsap kanter Evans
Favors kanter.

Maybe we could Hayward and burks start on the wings together if Hayward is up to guarding big threes.

demarre, jeremy evans and pmillsap

I always vote for cheese. "Edam and weep" is my motto. "To Brie or not to Brie...that is the question."

Seriously, Carroll is the only one I truly care about. Mo will return, but if the Jazz were to somehow find a better PG, I'd be ok with that. Evans is already signed, so he'll be back.

I'm saying no to Millsap solely based on what we saw the other night. Do we really want to see Kanter or Favors benched for Smallsap in crunch time for the next few years?

I sure don't. That was brutal and I think the team would implode.

As much as I've been bashing Foye lately, I still woulnd't mind seeing him be a bench player. But other than him, Caroll, and Evans, eh, not really anyone else.

I will say that if Sap would accept being a bench player I'd be for him coming back, but I don't think he will. Same with Al though to be honest, except with either of those two I also don't trust Ty enough to not start them. And Mo is an incomplete to me.

I voted for Marvin Williams to piss you guys off.
I would've gone a step further and voted for Watson, but when I clicked for Watson, the box got checked and when I hit 'submit', the box turned over.

A lot of room for interpretation here. I would live to keep Tinsley around year-to-year until he simply cannot play anymore. But that might be the end of this year.

Marvin Williams might be nice on a minimum contract but who knows how the next 16 months play out.

Evans for sure if he keeps being dirt cheap and happy. I still don't see a rotation player in him, but good/useful 3rd stringers are important and hard to find too (not everyone can stay ready for open-ended periods of DNPs, produce in a pinch, AND be a good locker room guy).

Mo really depending on how some things work out. I really worry we'd wait forever for a potential PGOF to be given a real chance no matter how good they play. I don't know how much more chronic feet-dragging I can take, but any potential PGOFs shouldn't be thrown right into the fire, either. I guess this is where a player like Tinsley COULD be useful if he can stave mortality a little longer (as it wouldn't be hard to vacate the role for a younger player). I don't know.
