His teams were actually really good. Sometimes coaches and owners/GM's don't always agree on the philosophy of their team. That's my understanding of why he wasn't the coach of Seattle and Milwaukee.

You make some good points but thriller trumps you with his comments about 2.5 wasted years of a team with no identity and little to no improvement.
If corbin turns the team over to young guys at the start of last year then burks hayward favors and kanter would be better and more experienced and we might have lillard and another pick from last years draft and maybe we win this game tonight.

Instead corbin went all in with marvin earl jamaal big al sap foye bell mo and howard.
Really bad and dumb decision

That wasn't all on Corbin. The FO wanted to win now because they cared more about making more money in the short-term than having a better team in the long-term.

True but it is on corbin to play jamaal and watson over burks a lot this season.
 
I'm not comparing and have said Karl is obviously a better HC just point out other facts about his previous teams, like he's lost the Jazz in the playoffs sans Memo. He's also coached many HoF level players or multiple AS level players, Gary Payton, Detlef Schrempf, Shawn Kemp, Ray Allen, Michael Redd, Glen Robinson, AI, Carmello. Like coach Sloan has always said this is a players league and the players make the coaching look good (even Pat Riley has mad similar comments).

Funny thing is his current team may not have any of those level of players but has several AS level players playing as a team and may be his best team since the SEA days with Payton and Kemp.

If you go to battle with your level 15 pikachu and i go to battle with my level 1 charmander, yeah you'll be better than me for awhile, but in the end i'll be WAY better than you.

The jazz decided to stick with the level 15 pikachu

IMO that is more on the FO, coaches are paid to win, especially from a first year HC perspective win or he's out of a job. If the FO had that as their plan then they needed to trade the players not in the long term success. The Jazz FO tried a different approach and guess we'll see how it plays out this summer and next.
 
I don't blame the fo for Ty's bad coaching. We see a completely non-existent system. Lapses in focus and effort. No toughness. No defensive adjustments. Weird rotations. Poor use of timeouts. No inbounds plays. And when he can blast his team through the media, he instead, loves his players and blasts the media. Who forced Corbin to do that?

It's pretty obvious to me that Ty might be a nice guy but he clearly isn't head coaching material. You gotta be a leader and an *** kicker. Ty is neither.

At the very worst, Ty could have told the fo that they needed to give him control or find another coach. That's the worst case scenario. Besides, I don't know of any coaches who would let their bosses tell them what to do with personnel. Most coaches are egotistical and would tell even their superiors to go to hell. 99.9 percent of coaches will play who they want no matter what fans, assistants, or superiors want. Just look @ bronco and Riley. No one wanted Riley to play, except for bronco and his ego.

So if Ty was merely a puppet of koc, he's even less of a head coach than I thought. What a spineless pansie. Hell, why even have a coach if he fo is gonna call all the shots? Lastly, why does anyone think the fo is calling the shots? Has koc indicated that he was meddling in player rotations or substitution patterns?

The time to finally hold Corbin accountable rather than blame some great conspiracy on the fo needs to happen now. Corbin has sucked. In nearly efery aspect. you cant blame the fo on everythig. corbin has failed. Plain and simple.

How did the Jazz lose this game? Kanter didn't even play one minutes. I thought that was a guaranteed win?
 
Remember all those people here that said the Jazz would win two games this post season?

Remember those posters that said the Jazz would win at least one game in the playoffs?

I would like to point out that the Nuggets destroyed the Jazz on the road and without Lawson. Yea, I hope this game brought some of you back to earth.
