What's new

I think when Dennis Lindsay said that the Jazz didn't give Ty "A's" in every category, he acknowledged that not everything was done exactly correct, and that there were some things to work on. I do think, though, that Jerry Sloan grew in the 30 something years he was coaching, what about that crappy two years he had in Chicago before they fired him? Why was he an assistant coach after being a head coach? Ty Corbin is growing. Who knows, he might even be better than Jerry was when he first started coaching. The problem we have now days is that every single move a coach makes is questioned by everyone on social media within like three seconds. Ty is going to improve, and if he doesn't, well then we will probably get a new coach, that is usually how things work.

If you want to say that the Jazz are not an organization who changes coaches like everyone else, maybe you have some credence. But wouldn't any organization keep Jerry Sloan around if he wanted to stay? I mean come on, he is like top five in coaching talent of all time. Are the Jazz an organization who likes to keep the talent around? Sure, if they want to be here like Stockton and Malone, they would love to have them around, but the way we have been shuffling through players lately, makes me think that the Jazz are objective, and trying to find what pieces work and which ones don't.

As much as I enjoy seeing people share my worldview, I also find it a little depressing how many people that have been die-hard fans and staunch hardliners for the organization starting to question what's going on. It speaks to me that the organization has become sick and don't have the guts to get treatment done.

does anyone think kenneth faried would preform the way he does after 2 seasons of ty.
this team is on the edge of a cliff staring into an abyss with ty pushing them over the edge.

imho other than pg ty lawson.
jazz talent level>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>nuggies talent level.

This is... a stretch, and I think you know it. We have the best chance at being on equal footing at the 4/5 matchup, but their depth at the 2/3 is probably the best in the league.

Ty Lawson/Andre Miller/Corey Brewer/Andre Iguodala/Danilo Gallinari/Wilson Chandler...and our primary starters at the 1/2/3 were Mo Williams, Randy Foye and Marvin Williams. Denver has loads of talent up and down their roster, and one of the best coaches in the league to make it all work. Dutch doesn't have a ****ing clue (shocking).

Reporters used to think that unbiased uninfluenced reporting was sacrosanct.

I assume that the Jazz do not OWN the media outlets, rather that this characterization is meant to be an insult or a complaint.

Ya, nothing new here. I blame KOC, like I have all season. The roster was seriously flawed. Not making any moves was stupid. This seasons failings is more on KOC than Corbin. KOC set him up with a bad situation and actually thought it was a good idea when everyone else in the world knew it wasn't.

There are always ground rules set in interviews by media from the agency they are interviewing. So with that being said, naturally there would be a bias on the question/answer session. Media aren't gonna want to get banned from coming back for pressing the wrong buttons and players are gonna say everything they can to appear as a team player so they have more value with the team or on the market.

How would you guys feel about bringing in Bynum? We give him max money and run Twin Towers with him and Favors, rotating Kanter in. Doesn't solve the PG problem, but whaddyathink?

I think he would come here too. He went to Philly and though it's a big town, the Sixers are the fifth team in a town with 5 professional teams. They averaged 1500+ less in attendance than Philly's MLS team!!!!

i cant help that ty has no system and chooses to start foye and williams.
it is his perogative.
if george karl started corey brewer and played him foye like minutes.
and wilson chandler getting th ebulk of the minutes.
do you think they would have been a 3rd seed.

not because corbin starts foye means foye is the best option talent wise at the 2.
if you thing that

YOU HAVE NO ****ING CLUE.

why the **** do you mention randy foye and marvin williams. and compare them to the denver bigs.

So Greg Miller & Company are bumbling fools who can't even see that the coach and team were terrible.

While at the same time, Greg Miller & Co. are clever spinsters who orchestrated an elobrate scheme on locker room clean-out day that involved 4 TV stations, atleast 3 newspapers and the Jazz's own employees to perpuate myths about the team and coach.

Got it.

9 year old girls know how to spread gossip and create outcasts.

Nostalgia. Going back to before we were a country, there has been good reporting, biased reporting, and yellow reporting. It's no different today.

pretty sure you lose this argument. Denver just has way more pieces than we do. Check back in on this one in two years. We might be better than them at that point. I like our potential, but there is no doubt that Denver has more talent currently.

the pieces look also better because of george karl has a system an identity.

Millsap is just as good if not way better than farried. but as one his role is defined and the other is not. it looks like farried>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>millsap.

talent alone i think jazz are better than nugz.
the talent is utilized wrong.

Hell no and here is why:

1. He has shown that he cannot remain healthy and stay on the court
2. He seems that he would not fit ego and personality wise with this team
3. He has shown that he is willing to hurt players to get his way

I want no part of Bynum under any circumstances.

Full year off, should be able to stay healthy.

Could be a problem, not necessarily deal-breaker.

So have a LOT of players in the NBA, including a long list of people everyone would love to have (Chris Paul for example).

He has had long periods off time off for injuries before and look where he is now. Back in rehab. His history shows he cannot.

It will be a problem as he has no interest in Utah.

When did Chris Paul intentionally try to injury someone? Also is that supposed ot be justification? If anything it should makes us want no part of similar players.

you may think the two acts are different, but the psychological motives are the same. bynum's is exacerbated by the extreme size difference. paul may have take then same route, but being extremely undersized comparatively went a different route.

and of course it is supposed to be a justification. players in the nba are uber-competitive. they hate losing and sometimes react poorly. melo's thrown punches, kg has thrown punches, vicious elbows happen all the time. nothing wrong with a guy who has an edge, only becomes questionable when the behavior frequently appears. one act in an 8 year career isn't too big a cause for concern.

and no nba player has interest in utah, but they all have interest in money.
