I think it is embarrassing for the Millers to have a tax cheat as an assistant coach who was arrested in North Carolina on those charges.
When did Jeff Hornaceck live in NC? Also he's not our assistant coach anymore he is the Suns head coach.

Personally I think it's a disgrace to have someone like that on our staff... We need guys with integrity for our young guys to look up to.
Also it wasn't like this is a 1 year thing which would be understandable. He failed to file for taxes for 3 years. I mean, how is it possible to miss that?
I'd be more embarrassed of employing a guy that was a terrible NBA coach and underachieving NCAA coach that is basically continuing to be relevant to the basketball world almost strictly because he was on the '83 NC State team.

Yeah it's a toss up. Usually integrity's more important to me than achievements/talent.
Also this wasn't like Pitino cheating on his wife - to me that's truly a personal matter. Cheating on your taxes affect all of us taxpayers.

I bitched the minute Lowe was hired. Not only for his ****ty resume but for what it showed me of Ty making a career-safe hire rather than someone to help push the program upward.

Gotta love ole Frank.
Are there any tax experts out there? Why is this going to court? I thought when they caught you they made you pay the taxes and some fines and told you not to do it again. If this is still in court is it possible there is more to this than just not paying taxes? Or because he is a public figure (and a state employee) are they going to make an example of him and put him in Jail?
Do you hire people based on resume or based on answers given in interviews? I'd expect the Jazz to have put Sidney Lowe through an extensive review process. From a fanbase jizzing their youth panties over snagging a Spurs guy, it's pretty ****ing sad how alter ego they have been about Lowe. Who's shown nothing but top notch work.
