Chad Ford Mock 4.0

14. Dennis Schroeder

Analysis: The Jazz’s biggest need is at the point, and it’s increasingly likely the team will have to use this pick to draft a top-ranked point guard. Schroeder is interesting because of his speed and length. He’s not as NBA-ready as some of the other point guards in the draft, but one of the Jazz’s priorities is to get more athletic. Miami’s Shane Larkin is another possibility here.

21. Kelly Olynyk

Analysis: Olynyk is another big projected as a potential late lottery pick who’s struggling to find a home right now. I doubt he slides past the Jazz if they get a point guard at No. 14. With both Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap hitting free agency, Utah will need frontcourt help, and Olynyk’s ability to both shoot the basketball and put it on the floor would give the Jazz’s front line another wrinkle.

Chad Ford has Shabazz going 16 to the Celtics btw

It is really that hard to go to last post and sift through maybe 10-15 posts instead of making a completely new thread when we already have a thread for the draft.

Kelly and his Bon Jovi hairdo disgust me. At 21 you can't blame them for the pick though. It's got value there, and would be a good pick.
I think 95% of Jazzfanz would love this draft.

Only problem I have with Olynyk is his short arms. 7 footer with less them 7 ft wingspan sounds like trouble to me.

Where does he have Gobert going?

Seems like a good idea to draft this year with an idea that you're going to draft in the same area, if not better, in 2014, so draft kids with a higher development plan than the kid who can play now. Schroeder and Gobert seems like the best draft to me at this point.

Dude, +1 Thanks. I appreciate it.

I already posted this in the 2013 potential draftees thread.

Screw that thread.

Thanks for posting! Keep it up guys. If you have a video of a player in this draft, make a new thread. If you have news on a player in this draft, make a new thread. If there is a new mock draft, make a new thread.

If you don't, 90% of us won't see it.

Thread repped.

If you don't already love Schroder then you will after watching this video.

I would skip about the last 7 minutes if you are an optimist.

I knew KCP would make it into the Lottery .. and he just did:

New Timberwolves GM Flip Saunders has made no secret of his desire to acquire a shooter on the wing. He already has auditioned several in Minnesota (Caldwell-Pope, Allen Crabbe and Tim Hardaway Jr. worked out for him Thursday) and traveled to Vegas to see Russian Sergey Karasev Friday. I think Caldwell-Pope might have the most upside of any shooter left on the board. I'm hearing the Wolves agree.

This is great news, as it guarantees at least 1 of Schroeder, MCW, McCollum or Bazz falling to us.

Yes. I don't go to that thread because it is long and full of a ton of BS.
.
Why is everybody so against new threads. It's easier to sift through the trash with more threads than a few long *** threads.

Actually, it's more like 10-15 new pages every time I go back and check that thread. I appreciate the draftniks (or is that, draft"nerds"), debating every facial twitch of the first-rounders, but it is too in-depth for me. I don't see the problem with a new thread.
