He probably won't get the roll game that Carlos had because he lacks that left hand skill, but he more than makes up for it with his ability to score everywhere else.
Yeah, mediocre wings has been the Jazz's problem, like for what, a decade?
Regarding the frontcourt, we'll have to see how a 6-8 Millsap and 6-10 Jefferson fare on a nightly basis. Thats an even smaller frontline than the one we had last season. It can wear them out quickly banging against bigger guys night in and night out.
Also, Millsap has'nt made much noise yet in the preseason. He is looking more like the role player that he was. These are just mild concerns, but still.
Easy 20+ by Big Al. We can probably expect that every night. He had some great passes as well. Notice how much easier it is for him to score in the post than it was for Boozer?
I still can't figure out why this game was appearing Blacked Out to me on League Pass it is the same even when I connect using an LA or DC VPN server.![]()
That's what I was trying to warn people about in the league pass thread. We live in N. Idaho, out of the black out zone (according to Dish network, anyway), and we were blacked out on League Pass the past two years anyway. All my attempts to contact NBALP have come to nothing. Nobody seems to know anything about it. It's very frustrating.
I forgot the one good thing about Raja Bell - when he raises his defensive intensity - so does AK. You saw a lot of that in the 03-04 season.

He still doesnt have the roll game Boozer had. If he can develop a roll game close to Boozer's that would be great.
You've analyzed my post in at least one way that I'd distance myself from. I don't think that we have a mediocre wing problem. I actually felt pretty confident when each high-minute player had the ball in his hands. Ball-handling isn't going to be a problem, and there should be a lot of open looks with a monster finally manning the post. A 232lb Miles is going to give us the best year of his career. AK looks great. Raja was a great addition. And I think that Hayward is going to be a fine player. It's more a matter of feeding the hot hand when these players are on the floor together and getting to the foul line when shots aren't immediately falling. CJ has the strength to make that a growing facet of his game and Hayward is already crafty enough to make that a staple. Anything Evans brings, which could be plenty, is just gravy.
I'm biased here, but who has a better wing rotation in the NW division? Nobody.
Let's see how he does against Pow and Odumb before we start praising Big Al's post-game.
Besides Portland and OKC, no one.I'm biased here, but who has a better wing rotation in the NW division? Nobody.
Hayward's demeanor = Kosta Koufos last year
When did Hayward guard Hedo at any point last night?
