Following potential 2013 draftees

im not arguing that Mitchells better im just saying his measurements are similar and i found it suprising that he benched more reps than t jones weighing considerably less

Once Mo Harkless was off the board i had Terrence Jones as BPA, so close to the lottery

Mitchell i think doesnt deserve to be near the lottery, not because of his talent or stats, but his red flags are numerous

that being said #21 is a crapshoot, why not gamble on a player like that, if he can play some lockdown d on 3's and 4's, give us energy off the bench i think mitchell will get better every year

How do you figure he can play 'lockdown d' when he was fouling out against the equivalent of middle school kids?

Probably been discussed along the way but what are the boards thoughts on Ricky Ledo? The few vids I've seen of him, he looks very skilled. I know he's got off the court issues. The fact that he didn't play this past year makes him a mystery and raises red flags.

He's been discussed some but not a lot. He's not very well known for obvious reasons..

Having said that, I like him. He should go late first rather than early 2nd, imo. Lots of upside.

When it comes to PG's, there is Burke (whom I still think is overrated), McCollum (he's my guy)...and then everybody else. I guess this year we'll find out if we'll draft a PG simply to draft a PG or not, because they certainly don't have much value this year.

I would strongly consider going with a big at 14 and a shooter at 21, or the other way around, rather than being stuck to this idea of drafting a PG who isn't that good.
Agree. This is why you are smarter then most of the posters here.

if im enes kanter im screaming at someone to get Noguiera or Gobert

or a player like James Ennis or Tony Mitchell, because Kanter establishes great position these guys can take advantage of the lanes, and Gobert can keep the ball alive, Kanter and Favors can go get it..

i really hope the jazz try to dominate the boards, the foundation is there..

how about

Gobert@14
Giannis@21
Southerland@46

Sign Brandon Jennings and tell him we want alley oops and ball movement, and catch and shoot, let him drive at the end of the game if its needed...

this plan is awesome and we have a TREMENDOUS team if Giannis is getting time at SF and Gobert at C

Blocks? Steals? wed have tons, and Dunks, plus

Giannis Kanter Gobert and Favors on the boards...

play Gordon at SG, Jazz are a matchup nightmare

teams in the west wont trade with us, obviously

also whats the average age of the team... 22, 23, 24??
Have you ever seen Jennings play? Not his game. Don't want him anywhere near this team!
im not going to elaborate too much, but Giannis is no Al Farooq Aminu

i cant see why in the world youd waste a 4 year rookie contract on that kid when Aminus on the market at 23 years old

to me

Aminu was clearly a top 10 pick

Kahwi Leonard was a borderline lotto guy

Giannis is an early 20's guy in my book
So you'd rather have Aminu over Leonard???

No, Leonards 3point shot seperates him, also hes proven and battle tested at this point, Aminu isnt, yet

and i was speaking about them vs their respected draft classes

Aminu vs Leonard each other in a game, Aminu has the advantage, hes bigger and more explosive.. that isnt even questionable

Aminu also Finishes around the rim alittle better

but do not Disparage Aminu's rebounding

10rebs per 36 is beastly for mainly a SF

also Aminu is 6'11"

he can shoot and dribble, can get all the way to the hoop... not the strongest finisher around the rim but hes got great touch and control of the ball, Hes a Sniper like Caldwell Pope

reminds me of JR Smith, who i like alot

i was really excited to see Providence this year til he was declared ineligible

his shooting stroke is very advanced, and he can catch and shoot, and shoot off the dribble

has a vast array of crossovers, a bit of Jamal Crawford, he can make tough shots

if somehow Adams falls to 14
then we take Ledo at 21
and Pierre Jackson at 46

thats a great draft in my book

Nah... Aminu is 7'

Amazing if true.. I think we're unofficially out of the race for Dallas' #13

sources tell SheridanHoops.com the Cavs are in serious discussions to acquire Shawn Marion from Dallas in a lopsided trade that would allow them to move up from No. 19 to No. 13 in the first round by relieving the Mavs of Marion’s $9.3 million salary, allowing Mark Cuban more salary cap flexibility to use on July 1.
