sry in case I misunderstood you. But have you been there as a religious missionary?
Yes, that's right. Roughly half of the posters in this forum are LDS (Mormon), and most of those served religious missions. Mine happened to be in Germany.

another note of irrelevance;
I had visited Karlsruhe on the my journey back from Strassbourg, France.
I lied. I was born like 102km away, lol. Never realized that Stuttgart and Karlsruhe are so close
I can't believe that base is still open, and they closed Mannheim, and Heidelberg only has a month or two left.

Something I always wanted to know... How would religious folk react to an atheist missionary preaching the word of atheism? I can't imagine they could get upset since it would basically be the same concept.
Tony said:Also, how long are you guys allowed to go to the same apartment/house? Because I use to live with my girlfriend and she doesn't know how to say no, one day a couple of missionaries came to the door and she agreed to allow them to stop by the next day even though she didn't want them to. They came nearly every day for three weeks or something, sometimes twice a day. I wanted to answer the door and apologize to them for wasting their time but she wouldn't let me because she was embarrassed. But seriously, how long are yall allowed to go to the same place if invited?
I wouldn't have a problem with it as long as it's done respectfully. (Same goes for religious missionaries)
I'm not sure what you mean by "allowed". Allowed by the law? By the church? By common sense?
If someone doesn't want visits, then if they tell the missionaries I'm sure the missionaries will stop coming. If they don't tell the missionaries, then the missionaries may well assume that they DO want visits, and will keep trying to reach them for a while. But there's no rule on how long that can/should be.
Very good answers. Are there any rules?
I lived in Mannheim for 5 months as a missionary.![]()
