This is kind of like being part of an inside joke. About 1 in 20 fans (if that) understand what is going on. We'll be able to laugh when the subs take a close game and quickly turn it into a 15-pt deficit while others will be swearing at the screen, demanding KOC and Lindsey be fired.

I'd say maybe 1 in 50. And they're all posters on this website.

Pretty much. It's interesting to me just how many fans don't understand that the way the Jazz have always done it does not work.
.
This change in attitude is a breath of fresh air to me. But casual fans are getting themselves worked up because they don't see the plan. All they see is a lack of proven talent.

The other guy from basketball does not come to this site (I have been trying to get him to) But he gets it. It just the fans that only watch the games who don't. The ones that understand the league and frequent BB sites generally get it. He just doesn't come to this one because he like to talk to fans of other teams as well.
 
Casual fans rarely look past the surface when it comes to evaluating a team. It's amazing, throughout high school and even in my year book, all my friends used to say I should work for espn. Now that I think about it, I was just saying things that we talk about on basketball forums all day lol.

It's funny how little my friends know about basketball. They are the type of fans who just like a team and check how they are doing in the standings and maybe watch a game every now and then.

I always let them know what is going on with every team.

One of my best friends I told him about the mega deal with the Warriors an his immediate reaction was nice you got another 2014 first-round pick because he is he only one of my friends who knows how good the draft is gonna be.

The pick alone made the deal worth it and we got Brandon Rush too.

Maybe - if no one objects - I can have the dash? I mean - if it's not too much trouble - I can just interject another thought into sentences whenever I want. Not as useful as the comma - but can be a substitute at times - when you want to set something apart.

The only thing I feel bad about is losing Carroll. But he might've netted the Jazz 4 or 5 wins with his hustle so better not have him mess up the draft pickle.
