It is the Super Bowl for BOTH teams. You folks aren't going to the Rose Bowl. Looking at your schedule, you'll be very lucky to even be bowl eligible this year. So stop, just stop.

How often have fans with suspenders gone after any other coach in the Pac-12? True, you folks only have a handful of wins over the past few years in your conference. But I don't ever recall suspenders boy going after Colorado's head coach... Cal's coach... Have you beaten anybody else in your conference? I know you came close to beating Oregon St. 4th and 9! So close! Maybe next time?

If you only lose by 30 to Arizona St. this year will suspenders boy go after their coach? That is basically a win for you guys against them, right?

If BYU games are the only games where fans are going after the opposing coach, I'd say that Utah fans aren't quite "over" this rivalry as they say they are. Admit it, you're still not over us. You never will be, lil brother. You're our Ying to our Yang. You're our Rianna to our Chris Brown. You know this 2 year hiatus is going to sting. Especially after we whip your butts on Saturday.

I felt like the Oregon State game was 100x more important than the BYU game. More importantly, I think the Utah team and coaching staff feel the same way. Meanwhile, you have BYU players talking to the media about Utah starting in the offseason.

Obviously for fans, this game stirs up the most emotion by far (for both sides) but if you honestly think that inside Utah's locker room, BYU is still considered their "big game", you're more delusional than I give you credit for. Do they still enjoy beating BYU? Absolutely, but Utah players have other games on their mind. That's why you don't hear from them blathering on about BYU during the offseason.

After Utah State runs USC out of their own stadium, I doubt he'll be seen in such attire. In fact, since Utah will be doing the same to BYU, I'm guessing he'll just wear a Utah Jazz tshirt.

If BYU can't provide a worthy game day experience, UU should start asking for 2 for 1's to compensate for their loss in experience. I mean, you can go play Michigan in front of 100,000+ or BYU who can't sell out their stadium...ask USU what happens when in-state rivals can't sell out their stadium.

You want to compare 63,000 fans watching a BYU/Texas game to 45,000 fans watching a Utah/Weber State game?

I definitely saw large pockets of empty seats during the Weber state game even though it was reported a sell out.
Even if the same happened with Texas, which I doubt, you are seriously trying to bag on BYU for selling at least 18,000 more tickets every game than Utah is even able to do?

I completely understand that if UU is coming into this game expecting to lose they should want to get something out of it. I'm sorry, but I really doubt BYU will start to sell beer in LES. I can hope we can convince them to stop playing popcorn popping and darth vader and other similar gimmicks, but you don't have to participate when you visit. Maybe with their Business connections BYU can put a good word in for your players at least with Hoover, Electrolux, Dyson, and Kirby because their skills should not go to waste.

Is Texas a top 15 program in the history of college football. Of course. Are they a top 15 program this year? Not even close. Nice selective reasoning. Go back and look at all of the "Big" wins against "Big" programs BYU has had over the years. They beat them in down years and get trounced any time the program is good. The year they beat the Miami Hurricanes, the Canes ended up sucking. When they beat Pitt and SMU (powerhouses at the time), those schools had horrible years. A few years ago BYU went to Texas and notched an impressive season opening win against Oklahoma. By the end of the year, that win looked a lot less impressive when everybody was looking at a 7-and-5 Sooner team.

When was the last time BYU rose up and beat a really good school that was in the midst of a good/great season? BYU simply doesn't beat the "Big Boys" when they're good. History proves that. Even midlevel teams give BYU trouble when they have special years. Couldn't beat TCU when they were good. Boise State kicks your *** when their at the top of their game. They got ran off the field by Utah during their BCS runs. The list goes on and on. But hey, they almost beat Notre Dame last year, so I guess you can hang your hats on that.

Thriller, keep pounding your chest over that Texas win. By the end of the year, they'll have 5 or 6 losses, Mack Brown will "retire", and this season will be regarded as a down year for the Longhorns. History has shown us that those facts won't stop BYU fans from adding a "big win over Texas in 2013" to their long and storied resume of "big win".

Nothing is sacred. Everything is fair game when it comes to parody and goofing off especially in a sports locker room. I see some of my beliefs and things I find to be sacred parodied and mocked all the time and you know what? I don't get my feelings hurt because I realize there's usually no real malice behind it. This is a non story that happened back in August. I'm not surprised to see BYU fans crying foul. In fact, I'm never surprised when I see BYU fans cry.

And you know what would happen while wearing that USC shirt? A bunch of people in U of U shirts, that look they haven't showered in 3 months, would mistakenly thank me for my service in the United States Marine Corp over and over again. All day. That's how much they care about Pac 12 opponents there. The golden child of the Pac 12 is an unknown orphan in Salt Lake. Lives in a box in Pioneer Park. Shops at Trader Joes.
