What's new

Finally took the plunge and published my book

I need to read your books sometime. Apologies if you answered this earlier in the thread, but are they available for Nook?

I just read all your bio, etc. on Amazon... man, that is freaking cool. That picture of you looks like it was taken in Eastern Idaho, maybe along the Warm River or Snake? I see you redid your first cover; it looks great man.

The picture was taken at Mesa Falls in Eastern Idaho.

I had my first cover redone back in January by the lady who did the covers for book's four and five. She does a fantastic professional-looking cover.

As far as book signings, I'll need to most likely have an agent or publisher first. For now I am doing this on my own. I was able to quit my day job last month, though. So now I am writing full time. We'll see ho much this book helps the series grow and maybe I'll draw some publisher interest. I had an editor for Del Rey books in Germany contact me on my Facebook page, asking for information. Who knows if that will come to anything, though.

wow, congratulations on all this, but especially for pursuing your passion and being able to reach the point that you can do it full time!

The fifth and last book in this first series is out!

Great news sir.

A few days ago I finished "Eye of the Moonrat" and I just purchased a few mins ago the second book, "Messenger of the Dark Prophet".

Right now I'm greatly behind my reading schedule but it's OK, because as I said earlier, I like to read slowly this genre. I'm also about to finish "The Dragon Reborn" of the TWOT series.

I'd like to ask you something about Kobo though. Do you know how can we write a review there? I'm trying to figure it out but looks like they don't offer that kind of feature. I also can't see any user reviews for other books, there is just synopsis or previews prepared by the site.

I'm planning to write a detailed review after I finish the second book, but if it's not possible on Kobo, do you know another platform that I can write? If there isn't any other place, then I will write and post it here on JazzFanz.

Wait did someone mention a twot series? Does that belong in the inappropriate thread?

Awesome, Enes. You can write a review on Amazon even if you haven't purchased it from them. Thanks so much.

And thanks, Colton. Please let me know what you think!

Sure thing. I'm in the middle of another book that I want to finish first, but I'll put your book next on my personal queue.

Awesome! I still haven't started book 1 yet, but plan to soon.

Hey Edge, I just bought something on Amazon and after I got a recommendation to buy two of your books. Nice.
I don't have a kindle so it didn't happen, but what I might do is go to my local library and recommend they add your book to the library.
You should do that, if readers ask for your book to be added they often times will end up buying the book and adding it in assuming you have them in hard copy, I thought I saw that. Maybe next time I'm on Amazon I'll look for a paperback of your series or something.

I'm happy for you, it's always nice to see people succeed.

JazzSpazz, you can still buy the kindle versions with the Amazon's free kindle apps for PC/Mac, Phones/Tablets or even with the Cloud Reader. If you don't mind reading on those devices, of course.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000493771

They aren't available for Turkey but since you're in US, I think there won't be a problem for you.

Good info, thanks.

I'm too old school for that, I hate reading on a device. I have to have the actual book in my hand. *shrug
