What's new

Stanford @ Utah

Bwhahaha. I tried to walk you down off that 7 spread to 5.5 and you wouldn't bite. That's why that bet never happened.

Look, all I'm saying is that when Governor Leland Stanford appears to you in your dreams tonight and tells you to bet the farm on his University, just do it.

All Im sayin is I dont think youve been to or bet on a Utes game all season despite saying you're going to bet on and go to every single one.

You can think whatever you want. You guys will have had 5 home games already after Saturday - You haven't even left the state yet. And I've been to two of them. If that just blows your mind, I can't help you out there. And I probably would be going to the game tomorrow too had it not been scheduled at the same time as BYU/GT.

Governor Leland Stanford University by 28.

Upset a'brewin!

Just scored some tix from a season ticket holder who can't go! Hoping for the same effort we saw against UCLA minus the turnovers.

Hope there is not the same cold rain we had in that ucla game. Utes totally would have won without those unlucky bounces for interceptions.

Ya, I'm going. I still don't know who I'm taking yet, but ya, I'm going.

I'll go with you! Doesn't that sound like fun, taking someone you've never met to a game.... oh okay maybe not. I'm no Trout, I don't put out or even offer a complementary handy under the blanket.

This makes me happy to see you say this. Pretty much anything you've said regarding college football has been wrong, so this bodes well for us.

I challenge you and that selective memory of yours to a million dollar* game of Concentration.

Re: The Pac 12. I actually agree it's the second best conference. Me saying you have a bunch of San Diego States wasn't an insult. I wasn't saying the top 2 teams or whatever are San Diego State. In Stanford/Utah, Utah is San Diego State. In USC/Arizona on Thursday, they were both San Diego States. Most games in the Pac 12 are between two San Diego States. San Diego State was pretty good for years. They were always a threat to beat you, but they could lose just as easily. They were completely mind baffling. That's what I meant. You never knew what was going to happen in a game they were playing in. That's how nearly every Pac 12 game feels to me. And because you're playing San Diego State most weeks, with an occasional TCU mixed in. You don't really have those book them wins anymore. That's where the step up comes in. It's not that you're running through this impossible gauntlet, year in year out. It's just that when you have to play San Diego State 5 times, they are going to beat you once. Maybe twice. Maybe 3 or 4 times.

I think Utah will hang tough for a half.

Depending on the turnovers, this could be a close game late in the 2nd half. If Wilson chucks the ball to The trees like he did against the Bruins, it will end up being a blowout. If he doesn't turn the ball over, then Utah has a chance. I don't think the trees will bring their A game. I'm pretty sure they may come out a lil flat as they're probably looking ahead past Utah. Utah will have opportunities early to make a statement. Let's see what they do.

If Utah had played Poole more last game they would have won.

Why they don't make him their primary back is beyond me. York shouldn't ever play unless in short yardage situations.

Poole, Williams, and then maybe York.

"The Utes haven’t beaten a team ranked in the top 10 at home since 1973"

Wow

I'm impressed with the improvement of the secondary. At the start of the year they didn't look good at all. Now they look pretty decent. Not amazing. But certainly competitive.

The Cardinal has no clue how to stop Pooele.

Utah is out cardinalling the Cardinal right now. They could play action pass for a td right now.

Time for the Cardinal to hit the panic button. Their miracle season is on life support and the Utes are about 5 mins away/another score away from pulling out the plug.

Biggest win since they rolled the Tide.

Huge win.

Crushed the Cardinal's miracle season. What happens if the Utes dump Oregon???
