What's new

Game Thread: Denver Nuggets @ Utah, Monday, November 11, 7:00 pm MST

The Nuggets were doubling Hayward out on the floor to get the ball out of his hands. Then Hayward never got in a rhythm offensively, but he couldn't work himself out of it. Denver took Hayward out of his game.

The problem is that teams can do that without worry. Jazz are playing 4 on 5 and 3 on 5.

not big enough:)

The Jazz have basically nothing at the PG spot. PGs scored 4 points in 46 minutes. Jazz are playing 4 on 5 all night. Andre Miller and Ty Lawson got their guys open looks.

If Favors ever figures things out, he's a max guy, and best player on the team and Allstar.

Favors is going to look sooo much better with a point guard and within an offensive system. This team is really hard to judge any of the guys, because they have to play with so many terrible players.

I know it is said a lot on here, but we will start seeing some ok basketball later in the season. We may not win a bunch still, but I think the team will start to come together and show that our young guys can play well.

Denver PGs score 32 pts.

Utah PGs score 4 pts.

That's -28 pts.

Let that sink in.

Let that sink in some more.

Rest of Jazz outscore Denver by 9.

Jazz FG % drops to 40% from 47% in the 4th quarter.

Jazz can't get good looks.

Guys can't create on their own.

The Jazz need a PG.

Or maybe two.

The master plan is in full swing.

16,4 ppg and 7,7 rpg so far is what we had expected from Kanter at least he is doing his part. His deffensive rebounding has been dissapointing but yes he has been consistent BESIDES some games.

Sorry dude, but Kanter has been **** on defense, **** on defensive rebounding, and hasn't really improved offensively since last season. I'm just hoping its rust from not playing over the past 6 months.

umm, isn't consistency, by definition that he does not look crappy is some games, and good in others? Only Hayward has been consistent this year. And even he had a couple subpar shooting outings to start the season.

@Jazzbasketball1: The positive/ironic/funny/sad thing is the Jazz have shown substantial improvement while on their way to a double-digit home loss #DENatUTA

I'm glad I decided not to take my wife to this game. Not sure what happened but dang this is sad. I'm all for the tank but this is just on a whole nother level

Really with Hayward and Burks on the wings, and Marvin and R Jeff getting minutes, the PG is the weak link for sure. Well, that and post defense. But this team will change drastically when Burke comes back.

@Clarkpojo: Burks was Kevin O'Connor's parting gift to Jazz fans, like a Varsity member leaving the JV team the bill from a fancy dinner.

Lol

How I feel about it

@Jazzbasketball1: I actually enjoyed the Jazz mixing it up from a 48-minute beatdown to an epic 4th-qtr collapse. What will Wednesday night bring? #DENatUTA

There's some truth to this. He freelances, takes forced shots, and struggles setting guys up in the half court.

Jazz should have posted him up a bit though.
