Randle and Jones are similar in size.. the comp ends there.
But they both attend/attended Kentucky, They are both African-American, they both have an 'n' as the 3rd letter in their last name...

If you are using a top three pick on someone you don't make him fit your system. You make your system fit him. There is no reason to draft Randle and play him at the 3. we would put him at the four and get another player by trading Favors or Kanter.
Yeah, I've heard that literally every NBA team will be represented at the game.
I'm not going to the game, but I will see if I can get any intel from some guys that will be around those guys all night.
Randle is more aggressive than Beasley, more athletic, and it seems like he has more of a drive.
Could he be a tweener? I don't think so. He measured in at 6'9 and 250 pounds with a 6'11 wingspan and 8'9.5" standing reach when he was 17/18. Will he grow more? Who knows...but he's definitely got good enough size to play the 4 position, and he's certainly athletic enough to do so.
However like I've said countless times, he's an immense mismatch for other defenders at the 4 position...if you play him at the 3, he's less of a mismatch. Much less. He's not a tweener IMO though.
Julius Randle is Michael Beasley w/o the weed problem (maybe). He reminds me of Terrence Jones. He will be nice but don't think his dominance in college as a tweener 3/4 will translate to the pros.
Do you know whether he prefers to play the 3 or the 4?
Seeing all of those quotes of Nickkkkk make me so glad he's on my ignore.
What an idiot.
I have a feeling Randle will play the postion of facilitator on offense. Be it from the top of the key, the elbow, or the post, depending on the defense. The rest of the lineup would be filled out by whomever gives the team the best chance to win.
On defense he will guard the person which gives him the highest chance for success.
Numbering and positions are irrelevant, do you not understand?

I think having Favors, Kanter, and Randle in the game at the same time is not advisable. Would be fun to watch and against some teams would be dominant, but not a way to beat most teams, imo.
no coments on Rodney hood
