I agree. That is why if the Jazz finish with the worse record they will be guaranteed to get one of the top 5 since they will be picking no lower than 4th.
For all the Parker lovers, he may just fall into the Jazz lap. Right now I am torn between who I want. I will be happy with any of the four, I just don't know which one. It is like trying to decide which Victoria Secret model is the hottest.
From what i have seen of him, exum is a much better ball handler, somewhat better shooter, not quite the athlete that burks is but still a good athlete.
So ya i would agree with a more advanced burks..... with more IQ
Right now GS is 7th tied with Dallas. Lakers and Houston are below them so there is no way to determine if they will be the 3 seed or miss the playoffs.
Honestly, Pakers poise has got me settled on the Parker Bandwagon. There is something special about him. I just think he's a winner and a leader and a good dude. I would love to add Jabari Parker. I think Parker would fit in well with the young guys, the team culture and Utah.
Again, Jabari just seems like a winner to me. Not sure Wiggins will get there. might just be T-mac.
I can't remember if I mentioned this earlier or not, but Gary Harris is making me eat my words. He looks really good so far. Some of that was because of poor defense by whichever Harrison was guarding him, but it's mainly cause he's just good. Looks like a smart, consistent player. A darker JJ Redick perhaps.
So only 10'ish games into the season, where do we see the GSW falling?
Just trying to mix up the conversation a bit from; jabari wiggins jabari wiggins jabari wiggins defense offense jabari wiggins jabari wiggins
I've been saying this in the "Curry got injured thread" that I think GSW will finish 7th in the West in this sort of order:
OKC
Spurs
Clippers
Memphis
HOU
POR
GSW
DAL
I really do think POR means business this year. They seems to have all the stars that they need to contend (legit All Stars in Aldridge and a potential perennial All Stars in Lillard). They've got McCollum at the 2. They have Robin Lopez anchoring the Center position, sliding Aldridge to his natural position at the PF.
While they've "tanked" to get players the previous 2-3 seasons, I think Paul Allen has decided they've got enough talent to shoot for the playoffs and I think they'll surprise some teams this year.
Now I've never seen Dante Exum play, not even a highlight or anything, but everything about his size and description of his game makes him seem like a slightly more advanced Alec Burks. For the people that have seen him play, is that a fair assessment?
I've been saying Gary Harris could be an Eric Gordon player for us since we got the GSW pick. I can see him starting at the 2, and be that quick guard who can handle the ball and is a reliable 3pt shooter for us.

Thanks P, I was obviously just going off of size/stats.
Cause honestly, the last thing I want is another Burks.
Those that say he would go #1 if playing in the U.S. are wrong tho, imo. I think he's solid at 4/5.. but not top 3.
memphis better pick it up. Looks like a lottery team right now.
Lol

It would be so nice to have Sac towns draft pick... We should offer to take Jimmer for their draft pick... as dumb as their organization is, they might do it. Only problem is that if we took on Jimmer, even for their unprotected first rounder, some posters on Jazzfanz would be pissed haha
