Think he'll still be on the board when the GS pick comes up?
I think someone like Vonleh would be a great pick in that range. The draft is so deep that there will be quite a few players dropping or moving up. Lindsey showed us with Gobert and Neto that he has an eye for the intermediate talent. Let's hope he makes a Gobert-esque find in 2014.
From DraftExpress Mock 13-25. If I had my pick and since I would have to trade up to get McDermott, I'd go after Saric at 13. Realistically from 18-22, I'm picking Young. At this point anyway.
13 Dario Saric SF
19 years old; 6'10"; 223 lbs.
14 Doug McDermott PF
21 years old; 6'8"; 223 lbs.
15 Andrew Harrison PG
19 years old; 6'5"; 207 lbs.
16 Adreian Payne PF/C
22 years old; 6'9"; 215 lbs.
17 Isaiah Austin C
20 years old; 7'1"; 220 lbs.
18 Mitch McGary C
21 years old; 6'10"; 263 lbs.
19 James Young SF
18 years old; 6'7"; 202 lbs.
20 Jahii Carson PG
21 years old; 5'11"; 167 lbs.
21 Spencer Dinwiddie SG
20 years old; 6'6"; 200 lbs.
22 James McAdoo PF
20 years old; 6'9"; 226 lbs.
23 T.J. Warren SF
20 years old; 6'8"; 230 lbs.
24 Semaj Christon PG
21 years old; 6'3"; 187 lbs.
25 Sam Dekker SF
19 years old; 6'7"; 200 lbs.
James Young at 19.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
So pumped that the 14' draft hype is justified and then some.
We just need a top 5 pick.

I'd say Andrew Harrison is the only one not living up to the hype. Hopefully he turns up the heat soon.
Andrew won't fall that far. This team is starting 5 freshman and Cal's PGs always have a very steep learning curve and start slow. All of them... and none have ever had to start with an all-frosh team.
I'm not certain what Andrew is or isn't yet (as for projecting) but I am certain his best days of the season are ahead.
Young is who I'm watching.. not sure what his draft stock will do, but I'm seeing a top8/9 player right now... thankfully somewhat hidden by having to share the ball a lot.

I love Andrews potential. Part of me wants the jazz to draft Embiid and trade Kanter and gs to get Harrison. Embiid and Favors front line would be scary good and unfair to the rest of the league. I'm not sold on Burke as our starting pg. love Andrews size and potential.Andrew won't fall that far. maybe he will fall to the GSW pick
All of a sudden the 4th pick not looking all that bad.

Harrison
Burks
Hayward
Favors
Embiid
That looks like a scary good lineup in a couple years. Thoughts...
At the same time though. Remember I said part of me wants to trade Kanter, not all of me
I'd sell my soul if this could happen.
Good Sir, I must respectfully disagree. I would much rather have a sure thing such as Parker or Randle than Imbiid. Plus, I think eventually Kanter and Favors could get to the point where they would be good together. I would however be fine with trading any asset we have except for Favors and maybe Hayward if it meant we could get another top 6 or 7 pick.
Don't call me good sir!! I'm not your good sir. I can see Embiid play himself into the top three or four discussion.
Also.. TJF said "suddenly the fourth pick not looking so bad." I never saw where he said Embiid was a better pick than Parker. C'mon, Batman, get your head out of your bat cave.
I was just commenting on when he said part of him wants to draft Embiid and pair him with Favors. my inclination is that Wiggins, Parker or Randle could be considered 100% go get em's
Good hell!! Where did I say I'd take Embiid over any one of those three?
Let me say this in a way even you would understand!
I. View. Embiid. As. The. 4th. Best. Player. In. The. Draft.....
Part of me hopes Embiid stays at Kansas and works on his game. He'd probably be the top pick in 15. The nba just lacks great centers in the league.
This is of course assuming we land a top three pick, but I deffinetly take him with the 4th pick, unless things really pick up for Andrew Harrison, then I'd have a hard time choosing.

Good sir, I must respectfully disagree. Embiid is not, in my view, the best player in the draft.
