What's new

Lucas is the greatest thing to happen to the Jazz this season. Lucas appreciation thread.

Jason Fart, that guy was Horrible bro.
Him and John Lucas can attend a sausage eating contest that I wouldn't dare attend.

Don't forget Brevin Knight, atleast Brev could pass.
What in the world could the bolded comment possibly mean?

BTW, Carlos Boozer and Kosta Koufous can attend a banana peeling contest that I wouldn't dare attend.

If any contest involves men paying close attention to objects of that general shape I really want no part of it.

Lucas ensures, at minimum, 4 on 5 basketball

Is that because of his lock-down defense?

John Crotty was pretty bad.

Are you serious? Before he went down with injury during his second stint, he was in track to being the best backup Stockton ever had. He could actually run the offense and hit shots. And we didn't lose leads when Stockton went to the bench. Give him a full season and he eclipsed Eisley, who's at the top simply for how awesome we were back then.

For his NBA career, Crotty averaged 4 points, 2.1 assists and 1 turnover per game in 477 games.
I was being a bit sarcastic, however his 01'-02' season was a good year for us. The best part about Lucas is the fact that we could tank next year, too. He's on the books for us next year. Wait, that would really suck to be this bad next year. Is Lucas the next Roger Braille?

Are you saying that the fun has just begun?

Hopefully not. I think Lucas has worked himself out of the rotation and Garrett is in. It's too bad Corbin doesn't see it this way.
WADR, your second sentence completely invalidates your first. You do realize that Corbin makes this decision, don't you?

The more I think about this tanking thing the more I realize that I don't want it. I'm just fine with sucking as long as the best players are getting the minutes. This means that Lucas doesn't see the floor and Garrett takes his minutes. Jeremy Evans get's more playing time in RJ's place. I would like to see Gobert get some consistent off-the-bench minutes. I am praying that some team bites on Marvin Williams and we trade him. He's played pretty well this season and getting anything for him would be nice.

Marvin Williams is the man, yo.

Everybodies inferior hate for him is driving me wildly crazy. I mean, trade him for something nice, yeah, but if he's the only guy showing guts and glory out there, I like him for it.

I don't know where I implied that I hate him. Although, he's playing well I don't see him playing for us next year so it would be nice if we could get something, if anything, for him. You knew he was going to play hard this season considering it's a contract year. It just sucks that his contract is going to be hard to move (or so I would think).

Williams is finally playing decent.
Sign him to a reasonable contract and keep him.
He's a young veteran FA that can help the Jazz.

I might consider a two-year 7-8 million. But then if we get a stud SF/PF in the draft and Ty scores an extension we'd never see our rookie.

I like wiener eating contests.

Not sure why?
