What's new

Enes kanter will be traded

Teaching and Developing about ?

Passing out of the post, Playing in his System ? He came in with 19 years of age, but he developed nothing new to play inside team basketball, a coach has to teach this, especially when you are dealing with young and raw Big-Man.

Kanter has not needed to learn about rebounding the ball, he was already elite at it coming into the league. But he got even worse on that and startet rebounding like a shooting guard...

Kanter has great work ethic and he is learning very fast when you consider him as a guy starting to play basketball with the age of 14. If this guy is getting worse then before, than the coach did somethin wrong the last two years.

If you enter the NBA needing a coach to teach you how to play, you're ****ed. You better hire a personal coach during the off season. NBA coaches DO NOT teach people how to play basketball. That would be like your manager at your new accounting job teaching you math.

You are right, NBA coaches have to help their players developing ballet and not basketball.

Explain to me what is the role of Corbin and his assistants!

No. You have that taken care of.

Ok, but do not forget my friend. You are believing in Kanter, but Kanter is believing in BIG-AL and is a loyal member of the AL-Jefferson Sect.

P.S

"Hi, my name is Enes Kanter. At my second game as a starter i got the first Jazz Player ever doing 20/20 shooting with 80 % or better from the field, but I can not play basketball and coach Corbin is the best"

#ALforCOACH

go AL go AL go AL go BIG ...

Primarily to create a gameplan that works to the strengths of the players on the roster, create lineups and assign players roles within that gameplan that put the players and team in the best position to succeed, to effectively communicate that gameplan to the players, to motivate the players to execute the gameplan (within their roles).

With the consistent effort and execution we're seeing from the players, and the lineups employed by Corbin (including the roles the players have been assigned), it's a little hard to understand why the Corbin hate persists. He seems to be doing a pretty good job from where I sit.

I support the tank, but hear me out. Example from tonight:

tie game with 2:33 left. Clipp ball.
time to intentionally foul Jordan. Use a possession. Then, intentionally foul Jordan again.
Instead?
8-0 Clipper run.

In other words, SITUATIONAL COACHING is big.
