Tank move: Andrew Bynum

Interesting idea. The right to swap picks is absolutely HUGE, and hence, makes it hard for me to believe that the Cavs would do it. Having the right to swap picks with the luckiest/unluckiest franchise in the lottery would make it fun to win again and not have mixed feelings.

Burks will join the elite of Robert Whaley, CJ Miles, Jeremy Evans, Eric Maynor, Raul Neto, et al. who may not be bad players, but are over hyped and overvalued for how little value they actually bring.

Burks has done in the last 2-3 games more than Whaley ever did in his career.

He already better than maynor, whaley, evans, neto, and miles.

And he is 22 years old.
Bad list bro

How do you figure that we will have a chance at Wiggins, Parker, or Randle?

By playing our better players less.... sitting them with "injuries" etc.

I'm with thee on this one.

I think burks and jabari is better than just jabari by himself so how bout favors, trey, hayward, burks all miss a few games (against other bottom feeders) here and there and we trade marv and jeffy for garbage instead.

We can tank our way to jabari without giving up pieces of our you core.

Its up to jazz management and coaches to commit to the tank though

You cannot beat out the likes of Bucks or Sixers for the worst record in the league without trading away important pieces, though. Sure, get rid of Marvin and Richard, and you still end up with more wins than those two teams. Simply put, Kanter/Favors/Burke/Burks/Hayward still make a better team than whatever garbage that passes for a roster they have in Philly.

I like the move for Bynum. He might bring enough apathy to counter-act Burke's wtw

Then again Bynum might find the love of his life in Utah and all of a sudden start playing like his Laker days and taje us to.. THE PLAYOFFS!

I surrender. You guys are right. A number one pick (if were lucky) and 4 guys from the D-league will have us competing for a championship in no time.

Like I said..... sit burks, burke, hayward, favors, and kanter during crucial tank games.

Come on, Gramps. My dad's over 60 and even he's on board with the tank. This season we didn't even field a roster. If we actually went out and got real role players, in addition to Burke, Hayward, Kanter and Favors, coupled with Jabari, and perhaps a coach who can coach, you don't think we'd be more competitive than we are now?

I agree, but I just don't think the Jazz FO will sit players when they aren't hurt....and it's going to haunt us for all eternity.

True

I like that Miami seems to be in the interest category for him. Bynum and Greg Oden are the secret weapons to counter the Pacers.

Miami can make the worst GM moves of all time, just because they signed LeBron along with Chris Bosh.

Seriously could probably put a bunch of 40 year old vets on that team and they'd still make it to the NBA finals.
