Following potential 2014 draftees

Perhaps instead of saying that based on past history of drafts (which is completely irrelevant btw) there will only be 1-2 players that pan out, you should analyze each player specifically and make that judgment. Again, each draft is different and each player is different.

Basically what you're saying is that since Kenyon Martin went #1, every #1 pick is going to be an average to slightly above-average player for his career. Or that since LeBron went #1, any high schooler that could potentially come out in the future is going to be a bonafide star in the league. Basically what I'm saying is that your argument sucks. If you still feel strongly about what you're saying, come back with an analysis of the players and tell us why you don't think they'll be good. Don't just point to past results in the draft and expect that to be a solid argument.

This better end this stupid argument. Hantlers just owned wolf.

Mississippi Stat (Cy's team) doing pretty well early against UK (PKM's team) so far up 18-8.

Big game in terms of bragging rights.

ESPN commentator commenting on Cal's comment that "these are some of the nicest kids I've ever coached", and wondering if "Niceness" is what you need to win.

I've said this about the twins, seems they're lacking that competitive fire. I've yet to any twins in competitive sports displaying much fire in the belly type aggression. The reason being they don't want to "outshine" one another and leaving the other behind.

The ****?

Its more like, in pretty much every draft, there is 1 star (allnba), 2 players that make at least a single allstar game, and a handful of starters. Odds are this draft isn't much different. I'm being generous in saying that there might be 2 stars.

Don't know where you pulled your **** from. Where did I say anything about 1 draft determining everything? Retarded.

People outside Asia most often don't like their food as spicy. So it's only logical that most don't have fire in their belly.

On a sidenote Kansas may have finally found a shooter as Selden lights it up and Oklahoma can't apply a zone defense.

Wow.. Nick Young, ... uh.. I mean, James Young, with a nice 3pt catch and shoot. He's UK's best offensive weapon right now.

UK shooting laughably bad. Only reason not down 20 is KILLING msu on the boards.

I bet we shoot better in the 2nd half and pull away.

So because in past drafts there would only be one star means that in this draft it's being generous to say there might be 2 stars? Again, I'm not saying that your overall conclusion is wrong, but your way of getting to the conclusion is just horrid. Why are you so scared to just evaluate each player individually? Is it because you know that you can't? I'm starting to assume that it is.

And how are past drafts irrelevant? They are completely relevant.

Not really. You can take bits and pieces from them, but they're really not that relevant. Each draft is full of new players, whom don't really have a lot to do with each other. For example, last year in the NFL draft people were saying how you can't take an Alabama RB because they're only successful because of the team they played on in college but limited pro prospects (Ingram and Richardson) and then Eddie Lacy happened. That's why you evaluate each player based on his own merits, not past draft history. I would love for you to explain how they are relevant though. Explain away, please.

It really is quite amazing how quiet Randle is in this game.

A shadow of the guy who dominated that UK/Michigan St game at the beginning of the season. Dunno what the issue is with him....
