#SochiProblems XXII Olympic Winter Games

Got up at 5am to go to the local sports-bar, and watch.

Pretty sure 90% of my FA bids panned out. Patty Mills currently at ~50% owned.

How long have you kept Steve Nash on your team?

Vitor Favorini?

You know these guys don't get into the games?

Nash dropped 19/5/4 two days after I picked him up for $3. His stock shot up.

Vitor Favorini?

Faverani was a rookie, and I kept on trying to send him down and pck up KCP, but I kept forgetting to.

You know I have at least 6 IR-eligible players? If all of them were healthy, I wouldn't be playing the likes of Faverani, Nash, or Sessions.

Despite my plethora of injuries, I currently only have 2 players who are owned by <10% of the league-- one is Sessions, who's underrated-- and could see a huge up-tick in minutes; and the other is Antic, a promising rookie who has been out with injury for the past couple weeks.

dalabro, you need to learn to let go of guys when they arent producing doe.

No room for dead weight.

Nash only played in those games because his contract requires him to play a certain amount of games per year to get paid. He is sitting on his *** on purpose.

etiring before the matchup against the Jazz would put Nash at nine games on the season and as a result he would’ve been able to walk away in medical retirement.

This medical retirement would’ve taken Nash’s contract off the books for next season freeing up $9.7 million in cap space. Not only would it have benefited the Lakers, but the rest of Nash’s contract would’ve been paid in full.

Actually, I misunderstood. If he would have retired before the Lakers game, he would have still gotten paid, it just wouldn't have counted against the Lakers books.

So that 10th game by Nash cost the Lakers around 20-30 million dollars because of the luxury tax implications. LOL

Ya, Nash is super determined to not have his career end like this. He has an online reality show thing about it.

He's got pride.
