Anyways, Hayward had a great game. I'd almost prefer him to continue to suck so we can get him for less than his actual worth, but it's nice to see him do well. Everyone else was terrible. The end. Williams and Jefferson are helping the tank these days, so that's nice at least.

not saying our players have flaws. they all prpobably have.
but they aint getting to work togetehr in a system that hides their flaws. and shows their strength. so yes it is on corbin?

Yeah Hayward is a good playmaker for a wing but if you have a PG who can do that job better(AST/TO Ratio: 2.98 to 1.89) than you should let him do his job. Is it an advantage to have a guy like Gordon who can also be a facilitator? No qeestion about that but let Trey do his job. It can't be that hard.

Can't believe I'm agreeing with Dutch. I'm not a big fan of Trey; I think he's too small and too slow. However, if Utah is going to pursue the Hayward-as-playmaker model, the Jazz should go out and sign a Derek-Fisher type (in his youth) to play "PG" - i.e. someone that can just hang out behind the arc and make 3 after 3. There's really no need for a true PG with Godron trying to do everything.

The lineup with Alec, Gordon and Garrett was actually not bad but the lineup with RJ instead of Garrett sucked big time.

Why are we turning our 6 foot PG into a spot up chucker?

This is a collective effort folks.

The Jazz ultimately, are a rudderless franchise. The same as they've been since Memo, Boozer, JSlo, and Dwill left.

We have a GM who wants to tank. A coach who wants to survive. A team fighting for new contracts.And an owner too busy passing gas and messing with his beard. He even appeared on a reality tv show!

This franchise can't make up its mind what it wants to do. Tank? Rebuild? Compete?

If we really want to make a playoff push then lets hurry and unload guys like Burke, Burks, and Kanter right now for vets.
 
So Hawes, Thompson and Irwing outrebounded all Jazz team by 9. Nice 3 reb mister 12 mil/year Favors. Nice 2 reb mister rebounding beast Kanter. Nice 2 rebounds mister Dunk champ Evans. Great effort all our young and athletic guys!

also cant say if im a fan of trey yet.
have not seen him used as he should be used.

It appears he just doesn't want to put the energy into that end of the court. I've seen some really bad defenders turn around and be solid defenders after they mature and understand how important defense is at this level.

Laterally, Burke is not quick. He's mediocre. On All-Star weekend when he ran the court in the challenge with Lillard, I was surprised by how fast Burke ran the court. I think he can improve on his lateral quickness. And as far as taking the ball to the basket, there's no excuse. The guy should be driving to the hoop. As someone else already mentioned, Corbin isn't helping Burke one bit.

As a point of reference, It would be interesting to see how Williams would have played under Corbin.

Yeah, our rebounding this game was the biggest concern. Favors and Kanter got demolished on the boards. Guess they just didn't care tonight. That's kind of disturbing, although I do think Favors had some no-calls as he was fouled in the paint fighting for position. He was visibly frustrated.
