I've refused to read this thread, but I'm amused that 17 pages later it's still going strong.
Let's switch it around, shall we? John Stockton: I LOVED that guys. He is/was the best. On the court, he was undoubtedly the best player in the history of the franchise, and top 10 all time. He was an animal, ON THE COURT. However, his OFF COURT persona was pure ****. He didn't sign autographs, didn't talk to kids, didn't hang around Utah, didn't do charity events, etc. I think it's fair to say that I didn't care for his OFF COURT persona, much like I don't care much for CJ's ON COURT persona. Do you get it now? Do you see why it matters? What the hell is CJ's "on court persona"? And why does that matter?
How can you be happy with his development? It has been 5 YEARS and he hasn't gotten any better. (although he has gotten quite a bit fatter)I'm pretty happy with CJ this season. I like his development. He can obviously still improve.
Really? If Kobe or JeBron were to get traded to the Jazz, you would just love them to death because they gave us wins? You wouldn't care about their off-court antics? Please. But I can't imagine hating a player because of his personality unless it cost us wins.
Again, that's the kicker -- I don't hate him. I hate his game. I hate the fact that the Jazz have wasted 5 years with him. I hate it when he shoots. How does that make me totally irrational? You just hate the guy. I'm down with that, but you should at least admit your hatred of him is totally irrational.
If you have 40 per page, its only on page 11.
Try that, it helps me feel better about it.
Can we get a mod to adjust his replies per page to 8?
If you do, I promise to behave for the rest of the year!
But who's worse him for lying or you for believing him? That would be funny... but I would just change it back.
Besides, you lied about behaving.
But who's worse him for lying or you for believing him?
Also after 18 pages I have seen the light and now know rainbutt to be the truth, I should've realized sooner when he clued us all in that Mathews was traded and not signed as RFA by the Blazers.
The original story there is pretty good and uses stats to show that CJ is a decent player. It's amazing to me that CJ's defense is shown to be better than Bell's. Especially that the FG% of the opponent is lower while CJ is guarding them compared to Bell.
Um, it seems you have a fan Trout. I'm sorry, TroutClown.
KEK, please PM me T-Clown's number...thank you.
Your feeble attempts at humor are really struggling. I admit, I laughed at the message you left on my home phone, but this is just sad. If you're going to try to make a funny, at least be funny.
