When I was watching the game today, every time they showed Miles, I thought of the "Clank the Clown" name and I LOL'd.
2. C.J. Miles’ blocks
Utah’s Miles has never blocked more than 17 shots in a season, but he’s already rejected 11 this season. Another way of putting that: Miles has blocked about 2 percent of all opponent shots during his time on the floor, more than double his block rate from any previous season.
How good is that? Miles, who is listed at 6-foot-6, is one of just seven players listed at 6-7 or shorter with a block rate above 2 percent, according to Basketball-Reference.
This probably won’t last, but it’s a fun nugget, and it comes in a season in which Miles has been more active than ever in just about every facet of the game.
Good grief. More nonsense babble. "7 players a certain height with a block rate above 2 percent....." This is nuts! Now Clank the Clown is apparently a great shot blocker....for his height that is. Talk about looking for a needle in a hay stack. Turn overs, missed his shots again, and a grand total of 1 rebound in 20 minutes. But wow! He made a block and he is only 6 foot 6. Go Clown!
The amount of hate that comes from Rainhut is ridiculous. CJ Miles is finally contributing in ways other than scoring on a consistent basis and he fails to give credit.

I don't care if he made some shots tonight, I still can't stand him. I was in the lower bowl this game and got to watch him up close. Without a doubt, he is the laziest player on the floor. His ONE assist was an accident, and he was chucking like the ball was burning his hands.
I really have no idea what you're seeing. CJ definitely struggled tonight with his shot. But he had several drives where he dished to open guys who missed shots. Some of those missed shots resulted in baskets. None of that goes down as an assist. But anyone watching can see that he's facilitating the offense. You need to focus less on who you think CJ is as a person and focus more on who he is as a basketball player. Believe it or not, he actually does good things on the floor every night that helps us win.
Miles can NEVER have a bad game. He is just incapable of it.
Meanwhile Bell shot just 4-10. Bench his *** and start Miles. Stupid Sloan can't even see that Bell is being outplayed by Miles in just about every department.
This was a bad game for CJ. At least shooting wise. He had a ton of open looks and they were not falling.
