What's new

Jazz vs Mavericks | Friday December 3rd @ 8:30pm

********! We were playing 4 on 5 on offense when he was in the game. The big rahtard SHOULD get rebounds just because he's bigger. And his out of control hook shots (not my description) were just that.

Can't wait for Memo to get back so we don't have to play his *** as much anymore.

You're being sarcastic, right?

Weird half. It feels like we played like crap but somehow we're up. Considering both Bell and Jefferson have been nearly invisible on offense (and Millsap, too, for the most part) it's hard to complain.

Which of our guys is the one missing lay-ups and 2-ft. gimmes by rolling the ball on the rim in slow motion? Is that Jefferson or AK?

That would be Jefferson. Dude's been brutal this half.

Everyone has bad days. AJ has been exceptional lately, I'll cut him some slack. Millsap should start playing more aggressively though. He's been soft.

That's true enough (on big Al). He's been missing gimmes - if he gets the same shots in the second half I expect them to start dropping. Millsap is struggling a bit with Dirk's length.

Nice post-up and 3-point play by Big Al at 10:30ish so start the 3rd quarter.

Utah tied up 46-46, with 9:30 left, after surviving the second quarter with two frontcourt players having 2 fouls.

I'd like to see better defense on Nowitzki. Nevertheless, 17 points in 20 minutes is better than it could be.

SWEET open-court block of Bell on Butler at 7:34ish in Q3.

AJ doesn't take it strong and gets blocked; Kidd converts with a trey.

Things look a little discombobulated. I'd like to see more aggressiveness from the frontcourt. Bell and DW are doing OK. Millsap drawing the foul and prompting a T by Tyson Chanlder is a start.

Just like I feared with my pre-game post, I think that Millsap getting beat too much. He's also missing FTs. Bring in CJ for Millsap and slide AK over; Miles can handle Butler. Or bring in Fes; they're both 7 feet tall, and fouls on Fes are no sacrifice.

Freaking Dallas can't miss this half, but the Jazz are still close so that's ok, it won't last and Utah will take have it's chance. The Jazz just need to keep playing their game.

This has been some of the worst shooting I've ever seen.

This 4th quarter is gonna be interesting to see unfold. The last 30 seconds of the 3rd quarter were decisive.
Come one jazz!!

Dallas "can't miss" because they are getting a lot of good open shots--everyone from Kidd to Dirk.

I don't agree with starting Q4 with Deron on the court. Price can handle Terry. Give Deron a rest.

Again, Sloan is letting PFs (and injuries--and disaster) drive the substitutions. Millsap hurts his leg, and AK comes in.

Then, as if to prove my point, Sloan sits Deron down after getting beat on D once or twice and missing a shot if, he could comment on it, with "no legs." And then he subs in Elson for Fesenko. I like the idea of putting Elson (or Fes) on Nowitzki; Dirk even beat AK on the last shot.

You should bottle up these posts of yours and sell them to insomniacs. Thanks for th...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

What a gutless, cowardly, pathetic effort the last few minutes. Losses @ HOME to both San Antonio and Dallas, the powers of the West, really diminish the team's otherwise stellar play as of yet. F this game.

Utah has been horribly bad for the last 5 minutes and Dallas has been ridiculously good. You can't beat a really good team when the refs are on their and you aren't playing near the top of your game.

Don't even go the ref route. Utah is not defending, and they didn't put enough height out there. Dallas (Carlisle) has made adjustments; Utah (Sloan) has not.

Sloan is "going with his guys", and those guys are leading the team to a loss.

Sorry all, but I simply cannot stand Fesenko. IMO he is by far the worst player on the team, and if he wasn't 7 feet tall and nearly 300lbs he wouldn't even be in the league. It's going to take more than a few rebounds and some out of control hook shots to convince me that he deserves significant minutes. But I guess for some that it's a bleeping party if he does anything significant, so I can understand.
