Jazz already have Favors, Kanter and Gobert. They will need help on the wing next year.
Embiid is the best player in this draft. Take him. Trade Kanter for a wing.
Who cares what the Jazz need next year. Pick the player that will be the better player 3-4 years from now. Blazers already had Drexler so they didn't need Jordan... In the draft, you take the best player regardless of position, especially early.
Think this might be the first time I've ever agreed with AK666, but you have to consider the rodent that started this stupid thread!
Jazz can never turn down the chance of drafting a center. Embiid has the potential to be one of the best bigs in the league. Just can't see them turning that down.
I watched numerous videos of Exum and even if they say he is "extremely quick" I have not seen a single episode/play where his speed would be anywhere close to NBA speed. Keep in mind he is playing vs very weak competition here so he may look quick, but it is just illusion. He has long stride which helps him with first step vs these slow guys here, but in NBA he would be negated very easily. And on defense his lateral quickness is average at best. Hope he proves me wrong but I just don't see it in him.
Embiid > Gordon > Randle > Exum
Jazz need defense, the first 2 provide that. The Kanter/Favors front court improves dramatically on Defense of you put Gordon 1 and Gordon 2 out there in front of them. Favors playing PF to Embiid as Center is just sick defensively. You could then get more space to free up Hayward and Burks for open shots as Embiid will eventually demand a double team.
The Favors / Kanter pairing hasn't worked as well as I thought they would this year.
Because of that, let's go get our next Hibbert/Duncan/Hakeem in Embiid.

When was it really given a chance? It's been working as of late.
I want to see more w/ adequate perimeter defense. Throw A. Gordon in at the 3 next to Hayward, and I think Kanter looks an all-star.
I agree with everything except when you say that Kanter would look like an All-star. I call bushwa.

How does that improve his putrid man to man defense?
