I suppose that begets the question: Are the Pacers collapsing because of Hibberts play moreso than George's? Or vice-versa?
Obviously both are to blame.
George is a super-star though, despite his recent shooting struggles.

I was absolutely blasted on this forum for suggesting that he wasn't a 'superstar' earlier this year. How about that.
Don't really consider Paul George an All-star by how he's been playing the last few months tbh.

Last time I checked PG is still just 23 years old, inconsistency problems will still happen.
At the time he was playing like a super-star, which is what we were talking about at the time. None of us expected or predicted this regression. Just because the regression happened does not validate your argument.
His shooting averages have gone down each year, pretty much. Since the beginning of the year his shooting has been terrible. Can't find stats for it though..
39.5% that's tough.
PG took his game to a new level starting 2nd half of last season. and he performed like a borderline superstar in the playoffs. and he continued to perform well this season, and pacers looked like a team to dethrone Miami.
but then all hell broke loose.
he is still an all star. if he comes through in the playoffs then i'll still consider him a borderline superstar who can be a superstar.
superstars in the nba
bron
durant
(honestly these 2 are only 2 superstars in the league)
huge gap
blake
harden
melo
another gap
cp3
westbrook
curry
brow
dirk
love
noah
did i miss anybody? i could put tony parker, but his stats just don't stack up. duncan too. honestly, i would rather have tony parker over any point guard except cp3.
PG would be in the next tier.
The Paul George love was always kind of a mystery to me. I like the guy, and I would have liked the jazz to have him, bu I do not think if you replace Hayward with George, that our team would be that much better, and if they were, it would be because George could play alongside burks, so the fit would be a little better.
But for all intents and purposes, George is only marginally better than Hayward. People were acting like we missed out on lebron by drafting Hayward instead of George.
now that's way out of the line. george is still miles ahead of hayward. it's not even close. george's length, athleticism, and defense alone makes our team better.
i fully expect PG to come out of slump. he may never become a superstar, but he will still be an all star.
I probably have lebron, durant, cp3, and curry as my superstars.
The brow will get there soon and maybe griffin.
Nowitzki was a superstar but is no longer.
i just dont like melo for whatever reason so he might belong in there but im biased on that one
