I fear in a few years Aint Brow will remember this as the first time the admins changed the formula and it was done specifically to reduce his rep power. It will be fact. No one owns the recollection power that he does.
I know I'm not the first, but I'm officially going on record as saying that Hopper will never reach 25 Rep Powers.

For the record, she was too cowardly to do it anywhere than in one of the 12 or so seemingly continuous messages she sent my way. Here's how this whole thing went down:

He wasn't specifically targeted, but it was KrazeeEyezKilla's post that prompted me to look things over most recently. But, as you said, I've been doing that about every two months since the board upgrade.
Correct. Those can be set to anything that he/I choose. I've been readjusting it from time to time to make it around the same level as the highest rep power of a regular poster (who I believe is YB85 right now).
Nope, there's no provision in the software for tweaking mod rep power. Just admin rep power.

Of course no one was targeted. It just struck you that it must be a "bizarro world" if I had as much rep powwa as some of the favorites round here. Makes perfect sense. Caint have that. I would git to tweakin too. If these thangs don't look right, it's your job to make em right. I'm sure everyone's happier round here now.

I don't think the moderators have discussed that specific thing yet, but I can see how that might constitute trolling.
As far as how we would know: if someone reports a rep comment, I can look up to see who actually made the comment. So, pretty simple, actually.
OK, so I'm not Colton but I'll answer some of this. It is possible for an admin to see who has given specific reputation, and giving infractions or warnings for reputation comments is something that has come up.
As far as getting an infraction for signing someone else's name to the reputation comment, I don't know if that would warrant an automatic infraction or not. It might - or it might depend on the context, and how individual mods viewed the situation.

OK, Mo, fair enough. If ya don't know, ya don't know. When I first joined, I was told that everyone knew the rules, but whenever I ask, no mod seems to know. Go figure, eh?
As you have said in the past, part of the "context" is WHO did it, I guess, but beyond that, I'm not sure what "context" even means here.
well, as you're aware, rules are subject to interpretation so it's difficult to make a blanket statement. And if something has never come up, it's even more difficult to assess how it might be evaluated.
