Edwin is a MONSTER at getting steals. hes a tough competitor, i can remember watching him getting 5+ steals in a game this season and being very impressed, great motor. I'd be happy to see him signed if he goes undrafted

Fuquan Edwin,a senior projected at #59 by draft express. This brings up many questions.

1- without a coach who is going to be working these guys out?
2- who else is coming in to work out with this guy?
3- will the jazz work out 70 players again?
4- what else do they need to know about him that they couldn't learn in 4 years of college?
5- did his mom know what she was doing when she named him Fuquan?

How does he compare to Demarre Carroll? Now there is a 3andD player that we should've kept.

Per Rigby's interview, Bryant and Jensen, our two player development coaches are likely being retained (they've asked them, and the tone was positive), as they were hired by the organization and not Ty. In addition to these two player development guys, Walt Perin(sp?), and the rest of the scouts are still around. In fact, there are more scouts than ever being employed by the Jazz.

More eyes and ears and more takes on guys, all good.

Beantown might be takin a trip to fractown

Carroll was more of a tweener coming out of college but their playstyle and physical profiles are similar, Edwin is a really streaky shooter though which kind of worries me, but hes very low risk.

3pt shooting #'s were
Soph. 37% from 3 on 3.2 attempts,
Jr. 41% on 4.6 attempts,
Sr. year 33% on 4.7attempts

(thats him shooting the freethrow)

1. Perrin, Sloan, Lindsey, Zanik.
2. Jefferson and Williams
3. Nope, they're aiming for 71.
4. What else do they need to know about any of the other possible draft picks? They've had a full college season. Workouts should be eliminated.
5. When the hospital asked for a name, his mom though they had asked her who the dad was; hence the name "Fuquan Edwin." Fortunately, "forgot his condom" was erased when the hospital submitted the birth record to the state for recording.

Carroll was a 1st round pick from a major conference and had pretty good SF size and was never known as a shooter in college. So coming out of college I would say these players aren't comparable at all.

Good answer. His steal rate just intrigued me, and I wondered if he could wreak havoc on the court a la DeMarre Carroll.
