Following potential 2014 draftees

If the jazz failed to get into the top 3, you guys think they'll trade 4th, 23rd and 34th to move up? Or use 4th, 23rd or 34th and kanter to move up?

I would do the trade for a healthy embiid or wiggins but thats it

How do you guys feel about getting Embiid? Do we take him and trade Kanter? Or Favors? Or keep all three?

I'd package our picks for Parker, fo sho.

Idk about that one.

I might rather have gordon/exum/randle/vonleh/smart, 23 pick and early second round pick than parker.

I have some worries about parker.

You really think there is that big of a gap between Parker and Wiggins?

Ya i do.

If parkers outside was better then i would be less worried. (He will need a really good outside shot imo)

Also the fat potential has me worried

I do too, but I do think he has the potential to be a #1 option, and that's what I want more than anything from this draft. This is by far our best chance at getting someone we can build an offense around. If we have to package picks to do it, then so be it.

True

Probably would look for some trade option that makes the Jazz better immediately. I'd try and trade either Embiid or Favors though and keep Kanter. An Embiid trade would surely bite the Jazz in the *** later, but if they got something solid in return for the present then it may be worth it. Embiid will have to develop for a little while. I doubt trading a prospect would get them much in return, but I would try. Jazz could try the opposite approach with a Favors trade. Trade Favors to a team and get solid younger player(s)/prospect(s) in return to develop with Embiid and co. Trading Favors would be a trying to win for the future move, and moving Embiid would be a help win more now move.

If you can't get anything really good doe (and I don't think the Jazz would be able to), I'd keep all three. Embiid would be absolutely lethal coming off the bench, yes, I said off teh bench. Jazz need more legit rotation players anyways.

Harpoon away

IMO keep all three. at-least until the trade deadline

It'd be a knee jerk reaction to clear space and minutes for Embiid right away, I say let him make it thru a full season playing 20-25minutes before too much is put on his plate. as long as his minutes are productive his value will continue to skyrocket
