Official Player Workouts for the Utah Jazz

I liked Shabazz, Schroder, MCW, Mason Plumlee, Gobert and was the only advocate i can remember on this board for Tim Hardaway Jr. at 21.

(I liked Hardaway Jr. over Trey... posters in the draft thread were saying he wasn't worth a 2nd round pick, IIRC)

assuming the Gobert trade, if i had the chance to re-select those picks 14 and 21 after the draft it would have been

Shabazz or Schroder at 14, id have probably staken Shabazz though. At 21 Plumlee was a no-brainer to me. My first course of action in Free agency would have been to offer Jeff Teague near 40 mil over 4 years ( I was posting this stuff, its not revisionist history)
Interesting.
I was hoping the Jazz would trade back for Schroder and then take Gobert. Teague would have been a good signing, had it not been for Lindsey deciding to go tank mode with the GS trade.

Burke was an ok pick. Even if the Jazz were to trade for a better PG at some point, team X would likely want a solid PG in return. Trey will be good, just not great. Considering MCW is reportedly on the trading block, Lindsey did an ok job in a very weak draft.

Not much to see in the Tomic thread...it's just a misconstrued translation of Perrin's comments. However, if the Jazz were to bring Tomic over, they'd likely draft Gordon, Smart or Exum instead of Vonleh.

also i forgot Lucas Noguiera, id have given him consideration at 14 too. but I had Shabazz rated highly though so i doubt id have passed on him.

I think if it were to have played out as Schroder at 14,Plumlee or Hardaway Jr. at 21 and the Gobert trade, the Jazz could have really out tanked the competition this past season while experimenting with 3 talented rookies.

Im not ready to close the book on Schoder just yet, and i genuinely wonder how things would've played out with him on the roster, im sure somehow he'd have gotten 20minutes per game, His shooting was bad this year and really hurt his effectiveness, if he can fix that up i still think hes a player, watching him this year he almost always looked quicker than his matchup.

Really liked AG's comments post workout. Eloquent and confident kid. I like him overall.

Now that I know PG_AB will leave if we draft Gordon, I want Gordon even more. Good riddance to wish washy Jazz fans who only care about the draft.

Probably the part that never cared about anything you have ever posted. You are a poor man's PKM mixed with Fabtrey.

sick burn!

what are you ****ing 10? you get called out for having aaron gordons (removed), and that weak dismissive **** is your comeback?

I hate to say it but thats exactly the type of lame **** id expect to see on a Utah message board.

I think his comeback was reporting your post to get you banned.

Yeah bro, shame on me for not coming with some harder stuff on a message board. I really shamed my family's name by not thinking of a better comeback to a draft nerd.

Shame on you for slurping on Aaron Gordon so religiously, I've never seen a poster on any basketball forum so infatuated with a player that they need to bring him up almost every post, its probably deep-seated issues tbh.

I pray at the Altar of A-God five times a day, facing West (the direction of A-God's place of birth) each time.

Hey guys, what irrelevant draft prospect do you want to talk about?

I think Dragin Tonavich has a really promising career. Plays for a low level French team, but has a good handle and has measured at 6'4.25 inches with a 6'9 wingspan. He reminds me of a young Julian Thompson, who was the best player to never make it past the St. John's practice squad back in '88.

He's not from or in Utah. This message board is accessed by the World Wide Web, I believe.

If Aaron Gordon can consistently make the corner 3 at game speed, he will be well worth the #5 pick. First, because that would complement the rest of his game perfectly, and second it would show that he works hard and can learn.

first time really visiting this thread and I have learned one thing pgab is married to CT. cant come up with another reason for their bickering so much

Man this thread took a strange turn.

I'd be pretty happy with Gordon, so far he's really impressed teams in his workouts. I haven't heard much of Vonleh work outs...
