So if Spurs win this, does that change the way all teams build a roster?

you really can't duplicate this. san antonio is all about the culture. they are like patriots in nfl. it starts with pop and timmy and trickle down to those who plays for 2 min in a garbage time. and all of them bow down to the coaching. very hard to do in this star driven league.

....are you gay? I thought for sure your were a woman! At least I hope so!

even better than huge hands? wide and not so long foot. perfect for the balance. and don't forget about nice bun buns. i always look for that bun buns. such an underrated body part. karl had it too. but charles? man that was some bun bun.

Also, the Heat's model of just signing old role players is kind of hurting them now. They are looking slow on defense.

Spurs showing you don't need a super-star or #1 option to win it all?

I know they have Duncan, who is one of the greatest ever, but he isn't that player anymore. He is still very good, but they have no clear #1 option or even a clear go-to-guy and are dominating the team with the best go-to-guy.

So Parker is not a superstar?

The decline of Battier and the loss of Miller have been huge.

Also, what happened to Beasley? Wasn't he signed? What's his deal?

Lastly, the heat might have been fools gold. Just saying might...

They romped the EC and everyone got excited. Perhaps the heat were a lil overrated because they hadn't played anyone? I mean, hell, the best team they faced was the pacers. The pacers literally couldn't beat any of the playoff teams from the WC. Dallas, GS, mem, would have all beaten them. Okc, SA, and LA would have swept them.

All in all, I think the spurs are just playing fantastic bball. Game 2's loss seemed to shake them up a bit and they kicked it up a notch.

this really reminds me of pistons vs lakers in 04.

I texted my friend that very same thing at the end of the 2nd qtr. it really did look like that.

Splo needs to pull a pop and adjust his lineups. Playing Mario Cole isn't doing anything. So skip the whole PG position now. He should get James jones and Haslem going.

But I and the spurs to win. So keep up the worthless lineups! Don't change a damn thing. Mario chalmers is amazing!!!

Last post:

Are the spurs that much better than last year?

Or are the heat just not nearly as good?

It's always answer 'C' - a little bit of both!

Patty Mills is better than Gary Neal. Leonard is better. Diaw is better. They play better with each other as well with more experience.

.....I think that's true with all these "hopper" type teams that rely on individual accolades rather than playing fundamentally sound basketball! Yes, it's true, that with a 24 second clock ticking, you need to have some AA on your team.....and the Spurs have that with Lenard and Green, but the teams built to win a 7 game series and a championship, need to pass the ball, pile up assists and use there brains! Espn and the NBA might want to keep selling this individual superstar stuff that supposedly makes the game "Fantastic" but it's "fool's gold" in my book as well as basketball purists all over the world!

spurs aren't respecting heat inside. i mean seriously, i have no idea how heat came this far without a shot blocker and a point guard. it was all bron and wade playing out of his ***. but wade looks like he is done. he just looks dead tired out there. dude needs a change of scenery. he just looks like he is a toast.
