My declaration of faith was stated in the first post clearly, and if it took you reading the portion about body parts it took you too long.
I'm just pointing out you are making additional statements of faith in addition to your first one.
I am talking life, and science here. How many Mammals separate the transfer of genetic material from reproduction as a same act occurrence?
How order-centric of you. Why the arbitrary dividing line at mammal, as opposed to primate or vertebrate?
Why would you have a problem with me saying the main purpose of reproduction organs is for reproduction, or the main purpose of a heart is to move blood, or the main purpose of a colon is to help, or allow, waste to be out of the body? Is that not science?
I don't have a problem with you saying that, but it is not science. Organs and organ systems have functions (lists of things that they do), but not purposes (lists of things they are supposed to do). Within a population, functions change over eons.
Where did you learn your science if you think that is religion?
I have been reading in science all my life, and recently have dipped into the philosophy of science.
It's like basic math. One plus one is two.
Basic math is also an arbitrary exercise, but that's matierial for a different thread.
Even Darwin would laugh at someone who stated the main purpose of sex in humans is not reproduction.
1) Why does it matter what random non-scientific observations Darwin would make? Do you seem him as a holy figure?
2) I suggest you should not speculate on what Darwin would or would not laugh at.
3) Hypothetically, I claim that the primary purpose of sex is the creation of small groups of emotionally commited people. Now, try to show I'm wrong, scientifically.
All other activities will not result in mini-One Brow.
CharityBrow and I already have five little brows, thank you.
