The Jazz have to be cautious with their FA signings mainly because the rebuilding is not over yet. The projected #1 guy Dante is not ready to get Ws. Another thing is core young guys are still developing. At this point we don't have enough sample-size to accurately determine which lineups or duos will work or not.
I dont mind going after low cost options to fill positions, **** id take Andray Blatche.. hes better than his paygrade, bottomline.
Michael Beasley was really efficient last year, hes better than what he will be paid.
The dude Brian Roberts who shot lke 97% ft's last year for the Pelicans is fairly interesting at a low price.
Darius Miller is probably worth taking a flier on, New Orleans didnt pick up his 1.15m qualifying offer.
I like Tyler Honeycutt, who the Jazz worked out recently from the Israeli leagues.
Trevor Booker plays nasty and with great energy, hes got great hands on defense, and could be an ideal PF coming off the bench, probably wont cost all that much.
Jerryd Bayless is kind of interesting to me too, i wonder if he had a bad shooting year going into Free Agency, and put his talents on sale by doing so.
Shelvin Mack, Haywards teammate at Butler is restricted but hes interesting he had his moments in the playoffs, knockdown shooter, has some wiggle, reminds me of a slightly watered down version of Reggie Jackson. He's 6'3".
Kent Bazemore and Anthony Morrow seem like they could be great risk/reward at low cost too.
Al Farouq Aminu is a bench player that's great to have incase of injuries. he also dosent take bad shots, rebounds his position very well, can finish near the rim amongst the Bigs, and he can play D better than anyone we have at that position(PF too if Favors is a C), for a cheap price on a player born in the 90's
I have a list of misfit players that id take at league minimum also.
