What's new

July 15 Summer league Jazz v Nuggs

Please find where I've said that Hood sucks, or that Hayward was worth the max. Until then, shut the hell up.

Thank you.

This has been insinuated by many of the Hayward homers. Sorry, I just don't agree with signing a poor shooting soft role player to the max. Especially when hood and Exum might be better. Hell, burks is already better than Andrei.

It's just a shame that we're now obligated to pay and play Mr Max ahead of players who already are or shortly will be better.

Again, find where I have said it. You said I said, so lets see it. Quote it, or shut the hell up.

Definitely with the max, right?

Let's continue with this. Hood sucks ***. His long history and reputation for shooting means nothing. His stroke means nothing. And Hayward is amazing cuz well we paid him the max so he'll obviously earn it.

The Andrei hayward homers have come back from 2007. Incredible. Just when I thought they had all left this board to go to Brooklyn.

So much irony in you making this post when you are insulting a player who has a long history of very good shooting.

Why should I quote anything when you still haven't addressed a single point from my original post? You're not in charge here. I don't have to answer anything to you when you don't even attempt to answer anything from me.

By the way, call me publicly what you just called me via your negative rep. Do it.

Hayward doesn't have a good history of jump shooting nor of being anything more than a role player.

You don't pay role players the max. We learned nothing from the AK47 debacle. It's that simple.

Again, you said that said Hood sucked and Hayward was great at everything. That Hayward was worth the max. You then implied that I insinuated those things. Now you're saying you don't want to find them? Just go ahead and admit you're wrong.

And yes, you're acting like a retard. Actually worse, most mentally disabled people have a hell of a lot more sense than you do.

Including college, Hayward has 3 years of shooting over 40% from 3. You don't just luck into those stats.

Mods, how is this not a personal attack? How isn't this a violation of rules? He sent me this via neg rep (actually, he called me a retard) and now this.

You've been Reported.

Hornacek was paid the max too, right?

You can't change the argument once you've been proven wrong. You are clearly trolling. Fact #1: Gordon Hayward over his career has been a "good" shooter. Better than Hornacek was during his first 4 years in the NBA. If you can't even admit to that it's a waste of time discussing anything with you.

Is Gordon overpaid? Yes. See, some of us can admit something in an argument. But him being overpaid doesn't make him a bad basketball player, nor should you hold a personal grudge against him for earning that money. In ANY job, you don't get paid what you are worth, you get paid what you can leverage, and Hayward had a lot of leverage. Now that he's on the team, let's cheer/boo him based on his basketball performance, not based on the numbers on his paycheck.

Here's the point, since I've received several positive reps from many unhappy with the max deal. I believe this describes our position perfectly.

Andrei Hayward homers, deal with it. Cuz you're stuck with us for 4 years now. Your boy better sure as hell live to that max deal. Otherwise, you've set the jazz rebuild back for years.

The argument never changed. Hayward isn't a good shooter and he isn't the max. If you want to argue about the shooting then please actually address the whole role player and max thing. No point in paying him the max if his production could basically be replaced by Burks, Exum, or Hood.

Career 37% isn't good 3pt shooting and means teams actively sag off of you.

Where would I be without these lessons from Thriller?

Remember when you talked about how awesome AK47 was?

Then how awesome it was having Hayward over Paul George?

Oh, and your boy in Orlando, how's he doin? Still shooting sub 500 at the FT line? How's his 3 pt shooting?

Lol, you've been wrong so many times that it's hardly worth talking about to you .

Btw, have you ever played or coached basketball competitively? What level?

Wasn't even on the board until like '07, and yeah, I liked Andrei's game. He was a on bad contract, but there is nothing I can do about that. Not going to just completely hate a guy for it because I'm not a insufferable prick who chooses misery over happiness.

I use to coach the Detroit Pistons, I played in the NBA for 3 seasons before a devastating knee injury.

It's quite amazing how somebody who hasn't played an NBA regular season game yet is a proven shooter, yet the guy who has shot 36% from 3 for his career shoots nothing but bricks.

"Facts".
Huh? I don't know if that is "intellectual" enough for some around here.

Thanks for the neg rep, Thriller. I won't neg rep you back.

Listen man, I'm going to say something and you can take from it what you choose. When I asked you before if you were this insufferable in real life, I did not mean it in a way to troll you at all. Honestly. I really was wondering and I suppose what I hoped would come from the question was that you would take a slight look in the mirror and realize just how intolerable you can be at times on this site. Your long rants about this and that and how everyone sucks is just brutal to take after a while (I know, I know, put you on ignore if I don't like it)...and it's ashamed. You're honestly not a complete idiot like many of the trolls we have slithering around here. But your style is oftentimes incessantly unbearable. Rather than crafting out a well-composed argument, you fly off the handle about how everyone is stupid and the world is black and white and you're right and the other side is wrong and that's that.

And like I said, that's ashamed.

If you take this as an attack, I sincerely apologize. That's not my intent and it wasn't when I asked you that original aforementioned question.

I just hope you consider what I'm saying here. I would just like to see you enhance your points through tempered writing so that you're better received. All of us as individuals and collectively on Jazzfanz would be better for it.
