With the 58th pick, I'm going to add an outside shooter to team up with Magic, Malone and Wilkins. Too bad he never had a chance to play with those guys. What an epic team it would have been.

Not bad for a guy who had his brilliant career cut short by injuries, followed by a premature death. I desperately needed a shooter and Maravich was as good as they came. His numbers aren't gaudy, but he would have fared even better if they had a 3 point line back when he played. He had the range to be deadly behind the arc.
