What's new

2014 College Football

tuned in just to watch Travis "Heisman" Wilson both that throw. Lol.

As much as I would love to give Washingtons D the credit, Utes lack aggression and imagination on offense. 3 quarters of lame

Sorry, green - it's just too easy at this point, so I will hold back except to say this: I guarantee Taysom Hill will never, ever, lose a game at home against a team with a losing record when he get's a punt return for a touchdown, a pick six from his defense and 150+ yards from his running back. If you're the QB, you almost have to TRY to lose a game having those advantages. 18-38 for 165. Having said that, in fairness to TW, Washington State does have the 93rd ranked pass defense in the country so they're pretty tough.

Utes defense: good

Utes offense: lol.

Actually the ute offense isn't and wasn't that bad. Booker ran for 174, Dres Anderson is a star, but unfortunately they have special needs kid at QB. I was actually very impressed with the Utes tonight, but it's hard to overcome poor QB play in football. Good luck next week, utes.

Bull ****

They played without balls for 3 quarters. Christensen(Offensive Coordinator) should be worried about his job. Poor showing, period.

The way Whittingham goes through OCs, DC should have been worried about his job the day he signed his contract. Having said that, even with the pick six, punt return, etc, it's just hard to win games when the QB can't complete 50% of his passes and doesn't get anything in the run game. Dave Christensen can't go out there and throw the ball straight.

Did you watch the ****in game?

Booker 4 yards, Booker 4 yards, Booker loss, Punt.

Timid

Wilson has yet to throw a pick. I'm starting to think that is a problem. I'd rather see Wilson fail than the entire offense cower.

I don't think Wilson is the #2-3 rated passer any more, but hey anyone can have a bad day.

I say we give him a pass and he's back to true form in the next game.

WSU is clearly an underrated team that just had a slow start to their season.

If you look at a healthy Wilson vs a healthy Hill vs BCS teams, Wilson is the better QB and it isn't even close. Right now, Wilson is the second highest rated passer in the country. Hill is good, but Wilson is better.

I say BYU's RB's are better because of Hill. He is a very dynamic runner.

LOL.

What a hilarious post. Any Utah fan want a refund on this post?

After seeing both teams play personally, no doubt in my mind that BYU would win.

They're slightly less athletic (only slightly) on defense and much more explosive on offense. Drez might be the fastest guy on the field but it doesn't matter since no one can get him the ball nor can he catch.

Overall, BYU is much more consistent and constantly on the attack.

Travis Wilson sucks *** with his weak noodle arm, Drez can't catch, the Oline is lazy, and the playcalling is very conservative. Almost like they're trying not to screw up rather than score pts.

If the two were to play this year in a heated rivalry game it would probably end in a score similar to the 07 game, 27-20... 24-17... Somewhere in there.

This BYU team definitely seems to have that edge to them. Call it craig bills or Taysom. They just have a certain nastiness to them that has been lacking for a few years.

USC held Oregon State to 181 total yards. I think it's likely Oregon State just sucks, but their QB did throw for 4600 yards last year so I'm going to pretend Boston College never happened for now and be optimistic.

How many pass attempts did Wilson have?
