By your logic UCLA was an awesome team when Utah played them, and it was on the road. So isn't that pretty damn impressive too? Add in a win vs USC and one less loss, and yea, LSU shouldn't have jumped Utah.

Yes, great wins.

LSU's big win was more impressive than those 2 combined though.

Utah's loss is a worse loss than the 2 LSU losses combined.

Pretty sure the experts agree with me cuz they ranked LSU ahead of Utah.

So you agree that we are the best but disagree that ours wins/losses should be weighted differently since we are, by your own admission, playing higher quality teams within our conference (that also schedules more OOC ranked opponets per team)?

To be fair, the experts aren't always right. Was ND really the second best team in the country when they played Bama a few years back in the Championship game?

I only care about college football when MSU is playing good, which is usually about the first 4-8 weeks of each year.

I will give you kudos on MSU. They deserve the spot they currently have in terms of the rankings.

Respect lost.

Sorry I don't feel like watching or caring about other teams, I still follow MSU and go to games, but I don't really give a **** about what everyone else is doing. Only really engaged in all the top teams when MSU is up there.

True fan.

When I watch the NFL I notice that there seems to be alot of players from the sec on the field and each year it seems like the nfl scouts have alot of sec guys high up on thier draft board.

I don't really have a point or dog in this fight..... just something I noticed

I have noticed that drinking more than 8 beers gives me a buzz.

LSU's only losses are to the (currently) #1 and #4 ranked teams in the country, 1 of those being a road loss.

They just beat the #3 ranked team in the country who some people thought could have been the best team in country.

Utah loss to Washington State. At home.....
All of which are overrated SEC teams who played virtually nobody outside of their overrated conference. As I said elsewhere the way the SEC keeps the myth of their greatness is by never testing it unless it's the best team in the conference. When they lose bowl games their built in excuse is they did not want to be there. Or oh well it was a tough opponent. I'd have a lot more respect for SEC schools if they were so chicken **** about proving their the best. But they are. Look at the non-conference wins for the SEC and they absolutely hide behind their rep.

I pointed out the myth of SEC not scheduling OOC opponents compared to the Pac-12. SEC scheduled more ranked opponents. Read previous pages to educate yourself.

Auburn even scheduled a ranked OOC road game vs. a very good K-State team.
