Following potential 2015 draftees

Sadly I've become sceptical of Michigan's players.. Burke, Stauskus, GRIII ... all of them have been big time College players but none of them have so far translated... makes me wonder if it's the 'system' that make them seem better than who they really are as players?

(sorry Bluenote >__<)

Honestly it's way too early to write off skilled talents like Stauskas.

Burke's streakiness is nothing that wasn't anticipated since he lacks certain traits. He was never projected to become an upper echelon point guard(Except by a couple Jazz homers after he was drafted)

I don't even know where GR3 is playing. And I would know had he seen much playing time...Is he injured?

Bitch McBlazy, jersey number 420 is injured but looked okay in the preseason.

To be fair I've seen him compared to CP3 before the draft by some people(not Jazz fans). :D

Well some ppl have an incentive to overhype NCAA players in exchange for incentives/information/cash. So that's not surprising.
Also there's people like PGAB who take a players best game and use it as a baseline for their development and ridiculous extrapolations. Enthusiasm may also play a role in that.
These guys also tend to evaluate 16 year old kids based on pickupstyle highschool games and true pickup AAU games and try to make conclusions out of this. I don't think Bill Self is an extraordinary coach but he's right on these highschool projections and the volatility of these.

Also I hate this measurement fetish of some posters. Skill level is so much more important. The only stars the league has solely based on hops are center. Everyone else has a pretty decent skilllevel. So that's what I'm looking for.

Looney isn't that explosive, but his fluidity, timing and feel for the game look pretty advanced. Decent shooting touch too. I like him as a prospect more than Noah Vonleh, which says what exactly, I don't know.

He seems like a guy who could be capable of a Millsap-esque increase in skill level from year to year.

I feel like Looney could get lost in the timber in the NBA. Maybe he'll grow a bit. He's talented, sure, I'm just looking for that spark that makes me think he's more than Ed Davis. His jumper is better than Davis'.

What do people think of Myles Turner as an outside-inside PF? Anyone see a bit of Rasheed Wallace to his game?

Looney doesn't have it.

Turner is talented but soft.

*UCLA Hater Confirmed*

Turner is too slow to be a PF IMO.

UCLA is too irrelevant to hate. I admit I want to surpass them chips.. but that's the extent of it. I just don't see Looney progressing and I think his potential isn't there.

y doe? Doing better than any UK freshman.

Chris McCollough draws some comparisons to Chris Bosh. So far the only thing I see is that he's got a big, long neck like Bosh.

haha.. I agree, btw. I just don't like his Charmin-like quality.

He needs to work on his body, like lower-body and core strength, but I see a lot of potential there. He could be a stretch big.

You think he's as soft as the Baylor guys--PJ3 and Qunicy Miller?
